Great Little Monolight
First of all - as a photographer - even a prosumer/semi-professional photographer like myself... bringing your own light to a photoshoot will really take your photography to the next level. I mean, yeah... I've spent a lot of years now 'fixing it in post' - but being able to put your subject in front of the sun and filling the shadows with a flash... it really makes a huge difference. Being able to shape the light and shadows... it's a learning process, but it really will take your photography to a new level.I'm a big fan of the Godox/Flashpoint 'ecosystem'. I've got a V1, an AD200 and this XPLOR300 for my lighting kit. I have one bag that carries all three flashes, a 5 in 1 kid and a couple soft boxes that I can throw in the Jeep and go out to location and I don't need suitcases full of gear. Compared to similar products from other brands - you can't beat the price.I don't do a lot of 'studio' type photography... most of my work is out in the woods, on the road, in the middle of a field somewhere - and these little lights work great... just because of the size alone, but the best thing about this is that all of these strobes work pretty seamlessly together. I can slip the XPro Transmitter on my camera - set each light to their own channel, adjust the power independently - turn the modelling lights on and off as needed... and they just work.

Extremely portable power!
At 300ws, this light gives more than enough power for just about any indoor shoot you can think of as well as most outdoor shoots (I've not tried overpowering the mid-day sun yet). The crazy thing about it, however, isn't the power, but how tiny the package actually is. This light is the same size as some camera lenses, which brings the portability to a whole new level from other lights since you can just stuff it inside your camera bag where you may put a larger lens like a 70-200mm f/2.8.So far, the color consistency has been excellent for me and although I personally shoot in manual mode (just got used to it), it has all the bells and whistles that you would want including TTL and HSS compatibility. It can use the same batteries as the AD200 (AKA: EVOLV 200), although they also released a new version of that battery optimized for the XPLOR 300 Pro. The battery gives you quite a bit of life and they are also pretty compact, meaning it's easy enough to carry spares (I carry 3). This is truly an excellent choice for photographers who are on the go.I can't speak to the native Godox-mount modifiers since I don't use them. You have multiple mount options for this light including Bowens, Elinchrom, Profoto, etc. with the appropriate adapter. Most will probably use the Bowens since that's what most other Godox/Flashpoint lights use, but it's nice to have the options as it means it is easy enough to incorporate this light into a non-Godox/Flashpoint setup.Aside from the portability, the biggest benefit of this light is that it's in the Godox/Flashpoint family of lights, meaning that it's part of one the most (if not THE MOST) complete lighting ecosystems out there. The system allows a single trigger to control everything from a speedlight to their 1200ws beast. Mix and match to your heart's content. The biggest competition for this light is probably Godox/Flashpoint's own AD200/EVOLV 200, which is another excellent light. I prefer the form factor of this XPLOR 300 Pro, but it's one of those situations where you're probably going to want to check out both lights for yourself and see what works better for you.I highly recommend this to anyone looking to get into portable lighting. It's just an awesome option and I can't believe that nobody's made something like this before.

Best in class lighting
First of all this light has a great price point and power for the price. Second, the light was so easy to use, put it on a stand, put on a modifier, power it up, and you have great lighting. I was able quickly switch to TTL and manual modes with a trigger and adjust all other settings. And finally, the light is small and very mobile so traveling with it is much easier. I recommend this light.

Fan for life
The amount of beautiful lighting this little lightweight srobe gives off is crazy. I loved my Godox E300s so I knew I would love this light. It's battery literally got me through 3 entire sessions. Well over 900 bursts before getting to 25% battery life. I haven't tried it outside yet, but im so looking forward to!

Batteries are Garbage
I gave the item a low review because I want to draw attention to it. The XPlor 300 is itself a fine light. No problems with it and I am inclined to buy another however, the battery issue keeps me from doing so. The bateries are absolute garbage (I have two lights). I repeatedly fully charge the batteries and put the gear away only to come back a WEEK LATER and find the battery discharged to 1/4 capacity without being used after a full charge. At first i thought it was a fluke but the issue is ongoing. It's frustrating and no clear recourse. I've been looking for 3rd party batteries but no luck. This issue makes me want to look towards Profoto. Thank you.

Bad battery won’t charge after 2 uses
I charged the battery to full and stored it for 2 months. The battery won’t charge due to charger protection. What a scam on keeping people buy new batteries.
