Infusion Living Collapsible Bucket, Stainless Steel and Silicone, 2-Gallon Capacity

I prefer to wash and detail my own car and to that extent avoid car wash places. Even the so called "touch free" ones. This presented a problem when I travel home. After a 400 mi drive my car would need some "attention" but with all the apartment buildings in NYC there's no where to wash your car by hand.Enter the Infusion Living Collapsible Bucket. I brought two so I could use the "two bucket" method for the Rinse-less Car Wash product I use. When collapsed both buckets sorta fit in a small square Rubbermaid storage container along with several spray bottles of other things I need to do the task. I packed some microfiber towels for drying in another bag.Once I got to my destination I couldn't wait to try everything out. The buckets open up very easy, each held two gallons of hot water and didn't collapse back down when full. I used the buckets like I would any regular one, dropping sponges in the water and banging it around while cleaning the dirt out between washing each panel down. The buckets took it with out even a flinch.The buckets had to survive being full of water, a 8 floor trip down the elevator, then carried 100 feet to the parking lot, and being picked up and moved around on pavement. In every respect these buckets held up just like any normal one would plus never collapsed back down.When I was done, dump the water, dry out the buckets and collapse them back up and back into the storage container. The whole kit took up very little trunk space so I had plenty of room for my luggage.The only thing I will say I don't like is a white film develops on the interior of the buckets when you put water in them. You see it when you empty the bucket. Happens with hot or cold water. Didn't effect the paint on my car but I would like to know what it is and how to stop it.I'm very happy w/these items and while they are expensive compared to others, they do seem to be worth it. Time will tell how long they hold up.

I'm always looking for new gear to try for our family camping trips and I came across a similar product like this at our local Wal-Mart but was a little hesitant to purchase it due to questionable materials and quality. I needed something that I could haul water to our camp kitchen and also be able to stand up on it's own. I also wanted something that was made from materials that would be robust enough to handle a camping excursion and possibly be useful here around the home as well. I stumbled across this bucket here on Amazon and i'm glad a spent the extra money on this because I am very impressed with the durability and feel of this collapsible bucket. The ability to collapse and expand the bucket to multiple sizes makes it very unique and great for storage. The handle is well built and better than the plastic one that I observed on the other one at the store. The collapsable material the bucket is made out of is a thick silicone that I'm confident will hold up for the intended jobs I plan for this product. The 2 gallon size makes it easy to fill and carry as well. I'm glad I found a product that I don't necessarily have to use for camping too because I'm sure this will come in handy for our garden this summer! I recommend!

I honestly never thought i would appreciate a rubber collapsible bucket so much. Purchased this to keep in a smaller boat. Works extremely well for throwing live bait in it and keeping close by instead of taking trips back and forth to the livewell. It worked so well that my fishing buddy stole it to use in his boat and i had to buy another.Update: It has been about a year now and it's still going strong. No rips or leaks in it, and still folds up flat and stores easy. The handle did begin to rust but that was expected being it is used only with salt water.

I have only had one occasion to use this bucket but so far it has been great. The collapsibility of it makes it easy to store, it's plenty big and the best feature is the handle. The last bucket I bought had 2 small rubber side handles making it difficult to carry (it was not collapsible either). This handle takes care of that problem. It's alot thicker than anticpated which is wonderful. I have one concern - where the bucket folds are may be a point at which holes could appear sooner than later. I have not had any evidence of this and am expecting that time will tell. I bought this to replace the bucket mentioned in this review for my camper. Would I recommend it to anyone else for that purpose - you bet.

I was hesitant to order this bucket, because other reviewers have said it collapses easily when filled. Not good, as I plan to use it for window-washing so it will always be used for liquid (and the plan is to keep it under the sink with the cleaning supplies).I am pleased to report the bucket functions exactly as it should; it expands and collapses easily but NOT at the slightest touch or when full of water. This is the perfect solution to my storage needs and I'll be purchasing at least one more.

Use it multiple times a day. Easy to fold in and out, easy to clean, portable, saves on storage.Just be careful if you bump it with your foot when filled with water as it does tip/bend in, water goes everywhere. I will still use it and quality it will last. Much better than my old icecream buckets. More sanitary, dishwasher safe.

This works great for my needs as an extra bucket. It is solid, durable, is stable as it holds water,, you can adjust the and I love that it not only folds flat but due to the "paneled" design you can customize the size bucket you need.

This is a cool item from a design standpoint, and I think it would be really handy when camping or for around a house with a yard. The only downside is that, being collapsible, it isn't usable upside down, as a regular bucket is, and I'm not sure if it will start to collapse while standing. Not a problem if hung.
