A nice read and great start to what seems to be a promising series
So I purchased this book basically going in blind because the other reviews were really not book reviews...and I will say I'm glad I bought it. The book revolves around Shiloh and Paisley. Backstory is that Paisley outed Shiloh in high school and because of this made her high school years hell. She hates Paisley so when she shows up on her front door in New York City four years later "asking" for help, Shiloh and her best friends are thrown for a loop. The Paisley from high school and the Paisley at their door is two completely different people. What has caused this change and the feelings surrounding everyone involved is truly what this story is about.I really liked the book. I thought it was sweet and different in sense. I was annoyed when the author kept referring characters as "the smaller one," "the younger one," "the older one," etc instead of just saying the character's name or using pronouns. It just irked me a lot cause it happens a lot throughout the book. Also, there were no real descriptions of the characters and I am one who likes to be told what people look like so I can "see" them...yes, I know, I lack imagination, so sue me.Other than those little things, I thought the book was great and am really looking forward to the next installment of this series.

Charming story!
What an adorably charming story! The author did an excellent job of portraying a victim of TBI and PTSD. With any hope, in the future Paisley will regain most of her memory but her innocence is the sweetest ever. The way her uncle treated her for most of her life also was a good representation of severe child abuse. All in all, a job well done!

Heartwarming and altogether adorable.
I read the fanfiction and when I learned that it'll be published, I just HAVE to own a copy. Lena did an amazing job with this book. PS: I may or may not have cried... just a little bit...

A.W.E.S.O.M.E Boook, the whole series tbh.
I really reaaally like this book, it's so cute and fluffy, but at the right point, not the whole book, the autor Lena know how and when write the angst moments also the way the characters are constantly developing is awesome. In this book she shows us a true friendship between everyone and of course, true love.

Very disturbing indeed.
First oficial all: Shiloh Everest? You have got to be kidding me. What is up with the names in lesbian novels? Always some Mary Sue snowflake bs.Now, the plot. It is very disturbing how Shiloh (sigh) starts to fall for a very traumatized, brain injured, fragile girl who acts exactly like a toddler and needs constant caring. And her friends just act like it's endearing. Oh, come on! Can we all agree that kissing someone who can't even consent is NOT ok? People go to jail for this, for Christ sake.

Wow !!!
What a read. This book blew me away, dealing with the subject of brain damage and the implications and impact on lives it can create. Here you have it mixed in with a beautiful romance and a group of wonderful characters. The author has written this in a totally innocent way as well which draws you into all of the characters innocence as well as making you ponder on all of the issues raised but makes you want to understand the simplicity of accepting how the characters deal with them. I have already downloaded the other two books in this series and am looking forward to getting into them.
