Bought for my Grandsons
My husband plays the guitar and banjo and really enjoys sharing this with our grandsons, this is great for getting them evolved in music and gets them to play their toy guitars, hopefully they will move on to play themselves one day but they have so much fun singing and dancing to this fun music!

Great songs for adults and kids!
I grew up listening to my dad sing many of these songs, so when I found Doc Watson's album, I was delighted. My kids love singing along and I never tire of listening to a great musician.

These are songs I remember. Enjoyed hearing them again and again. I think kids of all ages will enjoy this c.d.

Fun tunes for babies, children, and adults!
My 10 month old son likes this c.d. and will probably like it more in the next few years. I like this c.d. too. It fun to listen to for everyone in the family, and my son likes to play with it on in the background.

great CD. My 18 month old nephew loves to dance to these tunes and I like listening to it in the car by myself, too!

All ages will love (if they like folk music)
Like other reviewers, I grew up listening to these songs on tape. I remember my mom would play it continuously on road trips and I thought the songs were fun partly because I didn't think it was "kid" music. Sadly the tape was lost (I'm convinced my little sister pilfered it!) and because I was a kid when I listened to it, it took forever for me to track down the same album as an adult. Well, I finally did, and it brings me such joy to share these same songs with my 12 week old. He smiles when I sing the songs to him, and I can't wait for him to be able to sing along too. Dad is a little prejudiced towards "country" music (his words), but even he is coming around. Yesterday I overheard him singing "Mole in the Ground" to baby!
