Help Me! Guide to iPhone 6S: Step-by-Step User Guide for the iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, and iOS 9 Paperback – October 23, 2015

I have never been one to purchase user manuals, but when I purchased the iPhone 6S, I was really curious to find out how to use the new 3D Touch feature. I searched the web, but found only limited information, until now. This book was a great purchase, as it brought all of the information that is scattered all over, and much that is not found anywhere else on the web.I also came from a phone that still ran iOS 8. In addition to learning how to use the phone itself, this book also discussed the new features in iOS 9, such as the new Low Power Mode. All of the information was logically organized and quite easy to find. I am a big fan of the Tips and Tricks chapter, especially since I'm very picky about battery life, and this book helped me to increase mine.This is an essential book for every owner of an iPhone 6S. I already have, and can see myself referring to it often in the future.

The information is well organized and clear. I'm an old geezer who is just getting around to using a good iPhone, so I have lots of catching up to do. I recommend the book wholeheartedly.

Well, I did like this book when I got it, but it's already out of date. Not the fault of the author, of course. Will iPhone ever stop updating? I no sooner learn how to do something than they change it. Totally frustrating.

Not helping much at all! The instructions for many processes are wrong - he says to press this or that to do something but there is no such icon or key or named item on my phone (6S). And the book is more contents and index than useful how-to/advice. Maybe if the author focused more on specific models and stopped trying to be all things to all people with different kinds of phones he might be more effective.

I am new to IPhones so I needed a very basic guide to help me get used to this new little toy! I was able to learn how to use the the phone for the few things I will be using.

As a old person I found it quite good to learn about my iPhone 6. but in places still hard to understand. But greatful I have purchased it

The book was lots of help and taught me lots of thinks that I had no idea that the iphone6S could do. I still had a bit of trouble figuring out some things so I cant give it 5 stars but it came real close.

I haven't read very far, but in what I did read I already learned some thing about this phone that I didn't know. I am sure when I get more into this book I will learn a lot.

The rear index is spartan - just a list of paragraph headings. I purchased an iPhone6 and needed to know how to synchronize Contacts from Outlook and import MP3 music from my PC. I could find no such advice in this book. Look in the index for "Synchronize"; "Contacts"; "Outlook"; "Import"; "Music"; or "MP3"; and you will find nothing. If you want to change Sound Settings do not waste time looking under "S" because you need to look under "A" (Adjusting Sound Settings). Flash Photography comes under "U" (Using the Flash) - because that is the paragraph heading. And so on. I never did find how to import Contacts or mp3 Music. To be fair, the Contents list at the front of the book is much better laid out. The illustrations are in gray-scale. Unfortunately this is a book I would have avoided if I had browsed in a bookshop as opposed to shopping online.

Very clear explanations and figures that complete the clarification.Previously used a 4s so there was a lot to learn about this greatly improved phone.This guide made that a much easier process !

Okay but not great. Got it for my wife as a new iPhone user and she found it good in parts but lacking in other areas. There are probably better alternatives around.

but what is lots of basic info but what is covered is done very well
