Nice Solid Mirrors 3 ½ Stars
These are nice mirrors. Solid aluminum construction, NOT plastic! They are not quite as big as I was expecting, but they are NOT small. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of five - I ordered two of these mirrors. For whatever reason, they were shipped separately. The first one arrived on schedule and in the box was one mirror and one mounting bracket. The second one arrived the next day and in the box was one mirror and TWO mounting brackets! Bothe exactly the same, but I thought it was nice there was a spare, but feel there should have been a spare included with BOTH. I bought them both as brand new, shipped from Amazon. ALSO, there was no spacers, sizers, or rubber mounting materials at all. Easy fix with a piece of inner tube - but again, should have been included. I don't think it would have tightened securely without the inner tubing.

It looks great and it's very sturdy
It looks great and it's very sturdy. I'm used to having more viewing area so I'm a little uncomfortable with this and am always adjusting it. The biggest drawback though is the handlebar mounting. The base is a hard material similar to Bakelite that has been machined to fit snugly on one particular size of bar. My handlebar is wrapped so it didn't fit. Even in the unwrapped areas were too large (it's a road bike with drop bars). The hardware mounting screws are fairly short and screw directly into the threaded base. Definitely too short for anything but the one size bar. And the thread is an odd size so fishing through your junk box won't find decent length screws. One flange of the base can be drilled through and a longer screw and nut used. The other flange though is covered by the mirror support so the only option is to re-thread the hole. I'm considering making a base of my own perhaps out of hardwood. But it does look nice.

This mirror has to be the best. It is made well
This mirror has to be the best. It is made well, including the mount. Yes it vibrates while you're riding, making things not as clear as if it didn't vibrate, but that's to be expected. It is otherwise a VERY clear view behind you and works well to see if out at the end of the handlebar. I don't know that any other mirror I looked at would give as good a view past the riders shoulder/arm. The only thing I would change, if I could, is to make the mount bigger to allow for mounting it over the handlebar grip maybe. I wasn't thrilled about cutting off the end of the grip originally, but it works so well I can't really complain. I also wonder if the mount and the back of the mirror where you adjust position would be better with allen screws instead of phillips -- maybe they wouldn't be as easy to strip, since you have to get them very snug to keep the mirror in place.

Like pizza
Tried out the one day delivery service on this item. And I did have it before the sun went down. I was very satisfied with the packaging. But I was even more satisfied with the product itself. The attached bracket is sturdy aluminum. The arm itself is also of a sturdy metal (aluminum I'm assuming) quite light doesn't respond to magnets. The back of the mirror is also metal paneling, with side Plastics. Swivels in every direction. They also come in a multitude of colors. WoW.

Nice that they are metal
Just put them on our bikes - mirrors are larger than previous mirrors which is a plus. Will see how they hold up. Nice that they are metal, frames and mounts and not plastic.

You don't get what you pay for!
I had a different mirror on my old pavement bike that I loved, but it required installation in the hollow end of the handlebar. I got a new bike and installed turn signals in the ends of the handlebars, so I needed a clamp on. That's why I bought a pair of these.Paid for two bicycle mirrors, got a pair of useless hunks of tin and cheap mirrors that smudge easy. The one on the left flopped around, wouldn't stay in place no matter how much I tightened it. The one on the right locked in a useless position and got stuck that way. I'm afraid to try to fix it any further because the cheap tin screws are already almost stripped, after only a couple weeks of ownership.

Mirror has a good wide view just need to keep tightening
It is okay. Find that the screws need tightened every time we take the bike out. Mirror has a good wide view just need to keep tightening. A little annoying

Frowny face.
I thought the size and shape of this mirror would be wonderful on my trike. Alas, it was not. It's very hard to see anything in the mirror and the vibration makes it even worse. I have no idea how this works on any kind of bike because of the vibration. I might try it on my wheelchair.
