It's hard to fine metric taps in the US so I was glad when I found these.All the taps are formed well and are not covered in burs like some I have purchased. I've only used the M3, M4 and M5 taps but all work well, even on slightly undersized holes.The only extras I could have wished for are matched drill bits for the taps. It is harder to find the correct drill bits than the taps themselves. When was the last time you saw 3.3, 4.2, 6.7, or 10.2mm drill bits? And that's only whole size metric threads, let's not get into half sizes. This is the dark underbelly of the metric system.

Bought to have just incase I need to use them, always working on something

Working on Japanese cars you always need these sizes. Great to have all of them and spares in one kit. The are good not great taps but for the price it’s worth it.

Inexpensive set, so I got less than desired results trying to cut some threads into some decent steel rod. This set might be great for soft metals, chasing threads, etc. It is not going to do typical, machinist-type work.

Worked as expected, we had a striped intake manifold bolt hole, Cleaned out the threads and we were able to reuse the old boat. Paid for itself with one repair.

I was trying to fix a tread on aluminum cylinder head and this product in no more than a minute was already damage.....
