I opened this and thought, “why all the good reviews?” I have 2 theories. 1, this was several people’s first kydex and they didn’t have anything to judge against. 2. It might be the letter the company included with the product asking customers not to post negative reviews on amazon. This is a dishonest practice and I have a real problem with it. If we were talking about a QC mistake that’s one thing, but the problems with it are it’s general design, quality of finish, and price point. I buy things online. You can’t look at the product so you have to make your decision based on other people’s reviews, which I did. Asking people not to leave negative reviews is intentionally deceiving the customers. If you want good reviews, make a good product for a good price. Now I’ll get off my soap box and leave my honest review. Retention is adjustable so the gun stays in, but rattles around in there, not side to side, but forward and back. The trigger guard acts like a hinge. The detail to the gun is poor. Holster is VERY bulky. I have an IWB holster for my XDs and this is more than 1/4” thicker. 0.08 kydex is unecessary for IWB. People believe that 0.06 will collapse, but if a holster is designed properly it won’t. My last complaint it price. This is not a $40 holster. Not even close. You can buy legit IWB holsters from alien gear for $40. I don’t know if they’re factoring in the “free $15 American flag rag” they included but that’s worthless. This is a $20-$25 holster IF they increase the detail, fix the sloppy retention, and make it slimmer. As it is, it’s a no brainer return. I bought this in a hurry because my buddy got it and he said it was about the only thing out there for the new hellcat. I’ve known I was returning it from the second I opened it. There are 20 holsters at least on eBay that are WAY nicer and $18-$25. Look elsware. I’ve been making kydex and boltaron knife sheaths for about a year and I thought maybe holsters would be too complicated. When I saw this holster I realized I could do it. Made my first holster last night using this one as a template for what not to do and it’s awesome. Oh and when you ultimately decide to return this you pay for your own shipping.

I like it , good fit right out of the box . I read the reviews after I bought it ! My mistake , so I was a bit nervous, but when I got it ,I liked it and I use it daily . I would recommend it

its a good little concealed carty holster. The Hellcat 9mm fits securely into the holster. Can't ask for much more than this holster.
