This made for an excellent rain channel on my boat where the top doesn't seal against the cat walk. It was difficult to find a seal with a good shape that could be walked on.Silicone is a resilient but soft material that has good UV tolerance, so it should hold up well.We'll see how long the adhesive lasts. I prepped the surface with alcohol and let dry to give the best surface possible.If you're using this as a gasket seal, the top D shape is very soft and easily compressed. As you crush it further, the bottom portion with the smaller holes is a little more firm.While this is great for my application, it wont compress as flat as the foam strips.

This is a bit bigger than the foam rubber baby bumpers people are using to protect their EUCs against falls and drops. I used it to protect my new V12 and after a few crashes it's holding up and protecting the wheel from scratches

The various sized at which the product could be ordered was great. Found a good size and used it to replace the seal on a chest freeezed. Install easy. Heated the freezed where the gasket was to be installed, to drive out moisture and following instructions. Adhesion was very good. Used rolled to generate a full base connection. So far after several weeks the seal has worked very good. Would use again.

Excellent! Know that most negative reviews are the result of people choosing the wrong size. This is excellent. There is nothing better than silicone. I used This on my car to add a second seal to reduce noise and dirt entry into the well under and around the doors and trunk. Find the correct size and color and go nots on any gap anywhere.

I am disappointed with this weather stripping. The gap between my door and frame is 6mm. I purchased this, expecting that the hollow rounded portion at the top would allow the door to slide over the strip, compressing it slightly to make a tight fit. However, the strip does not compress, and the door just bumps into it and won't close. Therefore, I can't use this weather stripping.Other than lack of compression, the material and construction are high quality and it sticks well, so there may be useful applications for this product.

I have a slight leak in my tub due to it not being leveled correctly when installed. I stumbled upon this and ordered it last year. It created a dam and stopped the water from pooling over and spilling. Great product and completely mold and water resistant. For my use, it lasted 1 year. Many applications for this. Don't limit yourself to just weatherstripping. Going to see if I can use this in an automotive repair. Good luck.

I have a 5-6 mm gap between my door and the stop so this should fit perfect, I especially left this gap when fitting the stop in the frame, fitted this and the door won't close, it feels very easy to crush in your hand, but over a 2 m length it's almost impossible to get enough weight behind the door to shut it, sticks just fine, but totally useless if you can’t close the door

This weather seal is easy to install by cutting off the required length, peeling off the backing strip and applying the self adhesive edge to the window frame. As it's made of soft silicon rubber it deforms well and makes a good seal. It stopped the drafts and sound penetration around my Ill fitting old double glazing frames very well. I've only just installed the stripe so don't know how well the adhesion will last but I am pleased with the product so far and it is good value for money.

I fitted this under my front door, which has a recessed and should press against a metal riser in the doorstep, this was always very draughty and I have long pondered on what to use in this situation. I simply used a door width length of this and stuck it under the door and the jobs a good'n no draught at all very pleased indeed which worked for my particular problem.

I had great hopes for this seal as the size was just what I required. The spec, flexibility and size were perfect for my requirements. Unfortunately the adhesive is poor at best and useless at worst. With hindsight, I shouldn’t have paid so much for this product as I’m sure there are better products available. Wouldn’t recommend.

It took me over a month to get round to using this - the intention being to fit this around my bay window frames to fix the slight draft from my large double-glazed windows. Unfortunately, when I came to use the product, I discovered that the adhesion strip came away with NO adhesion on the rubber strip itself. So, I am UNABLE to fix the rubber strip to the window frame (or to anything). Absolutely USELESS product - DON'T waste your money !!!
