OWLOWLA Newborn Swaddle and Headband Set Jersey Cotton Swaddle Hat Set Receiving Blanket for Baby Boy Girl(Light Grey)

I bought this because it was an affordable jersey knit swaddle blanket. My newborn is basically a Tasmanian devil, constantly moving and flailing, so I needed something that stretches for a tighter swaddle. Unfortunately, this “jersey knit” blanket (nor the accompanying headband) has zero stretch to the fabric. It simply does not give at all. It’s soft so maybe I’ll use it as a breastfeeding cover or something but it doesn’t work for us as a swaddle blanket and the headband, without being made of a stretchy material, is useless to me.

I saw on other reviews that the color on the olive green was much darker than pictured, and I foolishly thought it wouldn't bother me. It does. It's almost black. Even after washing. I also washed the bow and hat. The bow came untied and I have no clue how to tie it back, but that's my fault. I really wouldn't recommend this item if you want the olive green. It's just way too dark. I intended to pack this in our hospital bag for first pictures but that's a no go now.

This is MUCH darker than pictured. Even in sunlight, it's hard to tell it's green. It's almost black it's so dark. I'm hoping it will lighten with a wash. Blanket is stretchy in one direction only. Not a big deal Single layer of fabric, so quite thin. The headband has almost no stretch, but is thick so will be cute while it lasts. Hat had very little stretch, but a little more than the headband.

Upon receiving this item, I washed it along with the other baby items to prepare for my little one’s arrival. I was very pleased that it kept its shape, and remained super soft to the touch. This will be packed in my hospital bag for baby’s hospital photos for my gender reveal. One of the selling points was that it came with a bow and hat. Very happy with my purchase.

Nice product for the price. I bought it to personalize and the only complaint I have is that the pink set is not pink, it is in fact coral. So that was a bummer but I made it work plus the navy set I ordered from this company was true to color. Overall I will be purchasing again.

It’s decent quality! The swaddle is small, but I hadn’t found anything with hat and bow that was affordable. Just wish there were more colors!

Not a fan of this fabric. I’ve bought quite a few swaddling blankets, and this fabric is not super soft and it’s very thick.
