T Rex 286854 Tape Super Glue High Tack Double sided Tape, Fast Fixes, repairs and great for Crafts or Crafting

Good product and easy to use

I bought this for other things, to stick lightweight fabric together, but also used this to make a home-made dusting tool with a pole to get into the smallest of spaces. It stuck a sheet of cleaning cloth together nicely, and it has held up really well so far. I would advise peeling only one surface, holding it taught, stick to one end and smooth down, applying only with fingertips unless you want an ikky, sticky ball of tape destined for the bin. Use it wisely and it's great.

This product has low adhesive power, it detached from a wall after four hours. This may have been due to the application (small cable trunking for speaker wires) and the tight workspace not allowing sustained pressure during fitting.

Excellent, useful and very easy to use

With needing to repair quite a number of hardback books spines, of leather and cloth covered books almost 100 years old, covering World War 1, so they can be placed in a museums reference library, the tape was found ideal at repairing broken spines that other double sided adhesive products were found unable to provide the repair with sufficient strength.The only thing to watch out for is to not touch the uncovered adhesive, as it is so sticky that you will find it hard to get it off both yourself or whatever it might come into contact with. A really strong bond is formed immediately the clear tape is put in place.It is useful to measure and cut the tape to the exact length, and to not touch the clear side except with a small metal items point when removing the covering.

So I really wanted to like this tape. I mean who doesn't want the convenience of superglue in an easy format like tape right?The the small snag here is unless one seemingly has super human dexterity and eyesight with razor thin nails, forget about trying to get the backing peel off. The closest thing I can think off is the frustration felt by using blister wrapped packaging, except 10x worse.If anyone knows how to do this without inducing 10 minutes of rage, please let me know. Maybe I'm a useless blob, but couldn't figure it out.

First time using the product and worked better than expected.

We needed something strong, easy to use and with no risk of ruining our product in use abs this tape is perfect. Used other tapes before and after a while they stopped working but this stuff so far is still sticking everything fast. It’s not that easy to remove but to be honest if it was I’d be worried it wasn’t going to do the job!
