Fun with Training and Understanding Your Italian Greyhound Dog and Puppy

This writing project is a sad joke.
I got this book in anticipation of the arrival of my baby Italian Greyhound. This is my first puppy and this book is obviously the authors first attempt at a writing project. Nothing that I didn't know already after seeing my friends with their pets. After reading the first 5 pages I felt dumber. Like I actually lost some intelligence. All the grammatical errors, misplaced words, and useless information forced me to burn this book, and bury the ashes. So no one else in my house will waste their time, and brain power trying to read this book and put the woods in the correct order.

Thief!
This author Vince Stead stole the cover picture for this book off the home page of my website!!!! I am the owner of Summerwind Kennel (Italian Greyhounds and Whippets)He never asked permission to use this picture. This picture is of the first three Italian Greyhounds I bred taken 18 yrs ago. They are sitting in the middle of my bed. If you look close that is a light cream comforter they are sitting on. I have no affiliation with this man or his views on dog training. I am appalled at the lack of professional courtesy display by Vince Stead!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!!Kimberly WattsSummerwind KennelOwner

The worst book ever
This is my first review here. I bought this book thinking that it would have some useful information. However, it is the probably the WORST book I've ever seen. The information is complete garbage. If this guy thinks of himself as a writer then we're all doomed. There are so many grammatical errors, in this book, that it quickly turned into a comedy for me. Do NOT buy at any cost, save yourself some time and money.

i would actually give it 2 1/2 stars...
I would actually give it 2 1/2 stars because the information is useful, however it's a self published book that is in need of a serious editor. The lack of proper grammar and flow of text is very distracting and aids in the questioning of the author's authority on the subject. I read the beginning chapters but gave up on it when I realized how poorly written it is. It's too bad, I was really looking forward to reading this.

was this even edited?
I downloaded to my kindle on Amazon. The book has so many spelling and content errors that are obvious I can not rely on the book as a guide. It refers to the italian greyhound as a large dog and refers to "spaying" as "spraying" as notable errors. I wish it were different. Very frustrating Aren't these edited?

I don't think English is the author's first language.
This book is poorly written and doesn't appear to have been proof-read. It reads like one of those manuals that gets translated from another language and doesn't make any sense. Most of the advice in this book is common sense. Certainly not worth the money. Do yourself a favor and buy ANYTHING else.

Fun with Training and Understanding Your Italian Greyhound Dog and Puppy With This Book.
Training your Italian Greyhound can be a long process but would shell out you a ration in prospect. Your dog must know could you repeat that? It is held to sort out and could you repeat that? Not to sort out. To sort out, and could you repeat that? Not to sort out, or we can say with the intention of they love to stay on the routine.Trained dogs get on to pro the preeminent companions and would permanently respect you since you are the lone who provides them with everything. A dog by the book educated is a dog who uses his mind and can think and not a robot who does things mechanically. A "thinking" dog listens carefully. These rules - such as thumbs down sleeping on the bed, thumbs down jumping up, thumbs down feeding by the desk, and that. - should be followed carefully by all members of the household, so with the intention of your extra arrival doesn't make one false messages. Understanding Your Italian Greyhound Dog is very easy if u follow this book.

Poorly written book!
This book is poorly written with spelling mistakes and contradictions in guidance of how to take care of your Italian Greyhound throughout. It was a total waste of time and money and I am very dissappointed in my purchase.
