Tastykake: Various Pies (18 Pack)

This is my very first Amazon product and seller review and this one is a pleasure!What a great seller! Product was packaged with great care and shipped out lightning fast, well ahead of scheduled delivery date. Communication with seller was effortless and professional.Now on to the product itself. All pies are very fresh and best by dates are about a week out from the date received. As I remember their awesome flavor from my childhood, this is not a problem for me. But some of you may choose to refrigerate or freeze them to keep them fresh awhile longer. They just won't need more than a week in this house because they will be gone by then! Looking at all 18 pies in the handy see-through packaging, I see no damaged or broken pies or bent boxes. As mentioned before, they are very well packed.The flavor assortment the seller sent was also very nice. I received 3 Peach, 3 Cherry, 3 Lemon, 3 Tasty Klair, 2 Blueberry, 2 Apple, and 2 French Apple. I went ahead and sampled 2 of the pies immediately, Lemon and Peach. Both had nice flavor, maybe part of this is nostalgia from not having these for years, but I found them to be absolutely delicious.Overall, this is just a great product from an excellent seller and a solid value. Will gladly purchase from this seller again and if you're reading this seller, please let me know when the Limited Edition pies such as Strawberry, Banana Split and Pineapple Cheese come out! I'll be the first in line!

They all taste great and a lot to choose from.

The "Best if Used by Date" was within days of when the pies were received. A bit disappointing. But these pies shipped fast and received quickly. All was great there.And the pies were a treat when i lived in Philly, and still are "tasty" today. They're mass produced, so set your expectation to be just that. And with the "mass produced" in mind, the pies are great!Just give a little more time for expiration date, so these excellent little pies can be enjoyed before the "best if used by" is passed by.

The everyday standard pies are excellent, and the seasonal pies are so so… they were fresh, but not to my liking… Try them see for yourself…

I grew up in Philadelphia in the late 1940s and 1950s. I always loved Tasty products. Now, I can buy them on line which is great since the stores where I live in the western part of West Virginia don't carry them. NOTE: The seller picks the flavors based on the availability of fresh inventory; so, sadly, you cannot select your choices for the assortment. Still, no real complaints. Try 'em, you'll like 'em.

Be prepared for unusual and very sweet snacks. Not for me

The assortment was random and good. The pies arrived fresh and smelled just as good as I remember from my childhood. It's taking all my will power to keep from devouring them.There was a seasonally available flavor included with the assortment. Lemon cheesecake. This along with all the rest made for a real treat.I also love that these pies are allowed to let their flavors come through as they aren't slathered in a sugar based icing!There not even close yo being eaten and I already know I will be ordering these again!

I'm sorry to say, the expiration date was sept 2021 and they arrived sept 2021 .... out of date, slightly stale, taste not good.I'm in a nursing home for rehab, could not get to PO to return them so i had to throw them out :(
