this is the perfect sized weighted blanket for me and my anxiety. if im having a panic attack i fold it up into a smaller rectangle and just put it in my chest and it really helps. the weight beads do kind of roll around and take a little finagling to adjust sometimes, that’s why i only gave it 4 stars. i wish there was one that just had solid weights that didn’t wiggle around, but this is the next best thing!

This weighted blanket is perfect for comfort and warmth. I am a woman of a certain age and even with menopause, this blanket brings comfort and warmth. I truly love this blanket. If it were not for the weight, LOL, I would travel with it. But, the blanket is worth coming home to after long travel. I purchased the twin size and it is just enough for me.

I have had problems sleeping for the past few decades. I tried sleeping pills and would sleepwalk and prepare meals in the middle of the night in my sleep, so no more sleeping pills. OTC meds would leave me hung-over. I worked odd shifts as a nurse, and ageing no doubt has also attributed to my insomnia.I saw a weighted blanket at Costco and after researching online and reading Amazon reviews I decided on the Ourea Queen, 20 pound blanket. I would have ordered one in King size, but it is not available. The blanket is meant to cover just the top of the bed, not the sides, and a King sure would be nice. I really like this blanket, received it Monday and slept under it Monday night.I also ordered the duvet cover for it so that it will stay cleaner longer. I could not believe how rested I felt Tuesday morning, and essentially all day! I did awaken several times during the night, but fell immediately back to sleep, a first! I had to get up once around 4a to answer nature's call, but went immediately back to sleep. No thinking, no TV, nothing. It is heavy at 20lbs, but I feel I need more weight. The first night I slept with the cover sheet under the blanket, and a plush blanket and quilted bedspread over it. I did not get too hot even though the heat came on during the night. The blanket has glass beads, which I believe are important. Last night I slept with the bedspread off, which was a mistake as the added weight for me is beneficial, and since I did not find the blanket hot I was a bit cool without the bedspread. Even so, I had another good night's sleep, unheard of for me.It is suggested the blanket weight be ordered at 10% of body weight. I ordered the queen size (60x80) inches, 20 pounds. My coverings probably added another 5-10 pounds. I weight 168 lbs, and have issues with muscle and neuropathy pain. The blanket is meant to cover just the top of the bed, and not flow over the sides. I have a king bed, but did not see a king blanket so ordered the Queen. I decided to double the blanket this morning and lay under it a couple of hours to see how it felt. Even at 20 pounds I did not pull the blanket completely over my chest. It would certainly be too heavy doubled over the chest at 40 pounds, but I will try sleeping under it tonight to see how I rest. I am astonished at how well I rested and how good I felt during the day, not tired at all.The blanket has claims of helping with anxiety, sleeplessness, etc. It may not be helpful for everyone, but I am glad I discovered it and will probably buy another since I can't get it in the king size. I like this brand I decided upon, as some brands may not be constructed as well, and not all have the glass beads. Some brands use rice or sand, and tend to leak. I saw a similar blanket at Costco for 2 1/2 the cost I paid on Amazon. The cover was an additional $17. I did not care about the color of either as I knew they would be covered with bed coverings. The blanket has loops for connection to the duvet, to keep it from sliding. Honestly, it is so heavy that unless it is constantly moved I cannot imagine it slipping, but think the duvet is a good idea as washing the blanket will be a real challenge, and it will have to be removed anyway to replace the bedding.A lesser weight might be better for some, but I feel I will benefit from more weight. This blanket seems to be a well-made, quality item, and should last if taken care of, so no bunching!Will be glad when Ourea makes this in the King-sized. If the price remains reasonable, and quality is maintained I will purchase it. Great item!

I'm a restless sleeper and this 15 lb. weighted blanket works well for me. My restless episodes have been cut way back and my sleep quality has greatly improved. It took me a day or two to get used to the blanket weight and now I love it. My only complaint is that the blanket can't be machine washed. It needs to be spot cleaned or brought to the cleaners. Overall a great product.

This blanket is cool. The weight gives the illusion of warmth, without being too hot. This is my first wighted blanket. It is well made, very nice, and the instructions and paperwork that came with it was the most friendly and easy to read. I think I would recommend this company to others. Their blanket is nice, and they are nice.

This product is advertised as being a cooling blanket, but unfortunately it actually is quite warm. That said it is a comfortable and soft blanket with very even weight distribution so I would recommend it as long as you know that it is quite warm.

I just received this blanket yesterday and I’m already hooked! It seems to be really well made. The color is exactly as shown( dark grey. ) I was surprised and overwhelmed with the amount of weight choices. When I was originally researching I realized you can get anywhere from 3-25 lbs. I had no idea what to get, but I settled on middle of the road 12 lbs. it’s definitely not too heavy. I probably could have gone up in weight a little but I’m am definitely happy with my choice.

It promotes a sense of comfort and happiness whilst sleeping.
