Tay: The Taylor Swift Story

My 9 yr old loves Taylor Swift she used this book for an autobiography book report. It was an easy read and family friendly.

I purchased this book for my granddaughter who is a huge Taylor Swift fan. I hoped it would entice her off the the IPad and into reading for enjoyment. When the book arrives, I personally thought it looked very promising, but unfortunately it did not accomplish what I had hoped.

I bought this for my teenage daughters who are big Taylor Swift fans. I decided to have a look and read it first and I was pleasantly surprised. The writing was terrific and Parker told the story of Taylor Swift's journey from birth to super stardom very cinematically and with a ton of heart. Five stars.

I learned alot from this book. Reading level is intermediate GR3-5.

My 12 year old daughter loves this book. They are like no pictures but it is informative and tells a lot about Taylors life. My daughter read it straight through and couldn't put it down.

Very cute story. Poorly written dialogues. Constantly asking myself who is the speaker. Good book otherwise.

the book seems to run away with itself.paragraphs clash into each other.the same information can be found on you tube but it`s still a good read!

A fairly standard biography. There are better books on Swift and her career, in particular Liv Spencer's Taylor Swift: The Platinum Edition (ECW Press, 2013) and Tyler Conroy's Taylor Swift: This Is Our Song (Simon & Schuster, 2016).
