Folgers Simply Smooth Mild Roast Ground Coffee, 31.1 Ounces

Love, love, love this coffee! Was told years (and I mean YEARS) ago that I had to stop drinking coffee due to serious acid-reflux issues, but I just couldn't do that. So I searched until I discovered Folger's Simply Smooth, and I am glad I did. It is incredibly good coffee, but does not cause the awful pains that regular coffee does. I drink only one cup, in the morning, so it HAS to be incredibly satisfying. This Folger's does not agitate the stomach, thus no acid burn/pain, and no acid reflux (which is a horrid thing to have). Difficult to locate Simply Smooth in supermarkets. If they carry it, it is the small container, running around 6 to 7 or so dollars. When I found this large container here on Amazon, I decided that this would be how I'd get my coffee from now on. No searching store shelves, just to see if MAYBE they carried it. No running out of my morning brew. Amazon has a container that is a bit larger than what you'd find in stores (when I used to be able to locate it), and at such a money saving price. Now I'll never run out of my Folger's. I've recommended this coffee to family/friends who also have stomach issues, and they also have shared that they are very pleased. Thank you, Amazon, for carrying this product, and please continue to do so!

I have gerd so bad that is landed me in the hospital last year thinking I had pneumonia. Doctors could not figure out what was wrong with my breathing until finally a lung specialist mentioned that acid reflux will burn your lungs. Yikes! I got really good, quick, not eating foods or drinking liquids that triggered my acid reflux and had to give up my greatest love! COFFEE!! A year now has gone by and acid reflux is better so I started drinking decaf. Ugh! Not the same! AND still made my tummy funky. I even tried regular coffee because I got mad and thought I was doing so good and maybe decaf chemicals was bad or something, but no way!! Total pain! I went on a hunt and ordered this coffee because of good reviews and tried a little and it tasted SO good and I felt great!! Woohoo!! SO happy!! THEN the REAL test! The HOLIDAYS!! ba ba ba bum...... I ate whatever I wanted for a few days and thought there would be no way I could have ANY coffee for awhile! NOPE!! I am drinking this coffee right now and I'm SO HAPPY it feels great going down, soothing and tastes so good!! Thank you Folgers Simply Smooth! :D

I suffer from heartburn, and love my coffee. I had all about given up on coffee until I happened upon this Folgers Simply Smooth Mild Roast Ground Coffee.I use this in my cold brew pot and it has a smooth full-bodied taste that I love, and the best part is that I can drink this all day, and not get any type of heartburn from it. I lamented the days when I deprived myself of coffee, but NO MORE!As a side-bar, I have also used this in my drip brewer, and it has the same rich-bodied flavor. This is smooth, has a rich full-bodied taste, and the aroma is enough to make you crawl on your knees for more. I highly recommend this coffee, and have it set up as an auto ship to my home.

This coffee is low on acid. It is as regular coffee with, bold full flavor and very robust fully fresh. Themissing acid has absolutely NO effect on the coffee, just your stomach doesn't get slammed with theacid. My family has been using this coffee for years, will have no other.This order is the 12th can that I have purchased from Amazon since September last year. ( must besomething right, huh??? ). By purchasing several cans from Amazon when needed, saves you a littleextra change and not having to go out and get it, when you run out. The flavor is very bold and youcan drink as much as you want, without the extra acid annoying your gut. If you try this coffee, I dobelieve you will see what I'm talking about. I have NO fault with this product in any manner or theservice from Amazon. I have always received this product very fast and received it in pristine condition.The freshness date is at it's utmost, the coffee itself smells and tastes as if, it was just ground.Fresh coffee, at it's best...

There are alot of choices when searching for low acid coffee but I went with Folgers since I have always liked the Brand and pleased with the taste of their coffee. Unfortunately, you cannot order direct from the Folger's website but they direct you to Amazon. But it is helpful to read the reviews on Folger's before making your choice. I am an avid coffee drinker and did not notice much of a change in taste since I am very limited in how much I can drink. The most important cup of the day for me is first thing in the morning and this was a perfect choice. Some users do find it in their stores but I have not so I order from Amazon and all went perfectly. Hope my review helps other people.

***********Adding new content to this review 4/17/22 - this coffee is tasting as though it's been on the shelf far too long lately. Just thought I'd let you know. It is beginning to taste way WAY out of date now. Please pay attention to the packaging best before date. Thank you********This product is a must for those that are hooked on great robust tasting coffee but do not wish to sacrifice flavor or full bodied robustness due to the lack of acidic content. My stomach can handle this, no jitters, no belly upset nor gout. I haven't had an outbreak of gout since 2012!!! No joke. This stuff is unreal and if I can't find it, I'll simply have to quit coffee altogether is all.

Not drunk coffee for a few months because of reflux issues, been brewing this cold and heating it up in the microwave, and I can drink coffee again! This causes my stomach no issues at all, one sip of normal coffee does however. Very thankful to amazon for making this available in the UK, where an equivalent product does not exist (to my knowledge). Ordered two, and will order more in future.

excelente producto, sabor único y ligero al estómago. antes no podia tomar café x cuestion estomacal me caia pesado y la mayoría de las veces lo regresaba a la hora o 40 min de haberlo tomado. este me cayo muy bien y lo tomo diario sin problema.

I've had this coffee before but I find it hard to find in stores. Very happy that Amazon could provide it.
