Ran this cable all the way across my living room from my PC to the TV and it works perfectly with no signal drop or picture quality issues at all. The braided jacket feels way more premium than the random cheap HDMI cables I have had in the past and I am not worried about it getting damaged from foot traffic or doors. Really impressed with the quality especially for a cable this long.

Crystal clear resolution, this helped me extend my laptop location across the room and allow for the projector and or tv to be mounted on the wall. I have had other long HDMI cables but this is the most rugged and provides the best quality picture. The cost was also a key factor it’s hard to find a good item at a great price. Both connectors work great and the braided cable is perfect.

As long as you are careful to note that this optical cable is directional (meaning there is dedicated source and receiver end) and understand that this means it also cannot serve as a control/communications cable, this is a fantastic and relatively economical way to obtain reliable HDMI video transmission over long distances. It is powered directly by the HDMI ports used on each end, no need for a separate supply.
