Fun Express Magic Color Scratch Reindeer Christmas Ornaments (24 Pcs) - Crafts for Kids & Ornament Crafts

I originally planned to give these ornaments as a class gift for my daughter‘s kindergarten class in goody bags, but when they arrived, I discovered that they were not individually packaged. I can’t imagine who might need 24 of these for themselves, and I was disappointed that I couldn’t give them out in a goodie bag as a holiday craft to take home and make. There are not enough supplies to actually make the ornament (I E scratching Styx) for each child. We are going to have my daughter make all of the ornaments and put them in the bags already made with some candy and other goodies. I guess they will just be her personal gift to her classmates.Other than that disappointment, they’re cute and easy for young children to make. They even have room for creativity within the standard design. Young children will have trouble with the part that hangs from the tree so expect to have to help with threading the strings through the wholes and tying a knot to create a loop.These are great craft projects for kids though. Like I said, I was just a little disappointed that they didn’t come individually packaged, or at least with enough supplies for each ornament to be made by 24 different people.

My kids loved them. It was also a good stocking stuffer. The sticks to scratch were a bit flimsy. Be ready to clean after your kids scratch!

These are cute but better for a child if 7 or 8. Little ones don’t have the coordination to scratch off the outer layer without digging into the picture.

I’ve used scratch ornaments with my grandchildren in the past while they are waiting their turn to do a more complicated project. They are easy and cute. We have used some fir decorations and some fir gift tags.

I thought the idea was really cute. Only downfall to the product is they came in a little scratched up already. Still a really fun idea.

My grandchildren loved making these. It kept them busy and quiet. Even their parents got in on it and we all tried to prove how creative we could be on Christmas Eve.

I had a lot of fun with these making gift tags for Christmas presents. They are super cute and I like making different designs on them. They would be great for kids to make tags!
