Used these for my initial Blackfish trip of the season with a good amount of success. No problem setting the hook or getting the Tog to the boat. Hook Point seems pretty sharp and the overall make of the hook is strong enough to get pulled of out the rocks without bending.

There's only one Gamakatsu...these are not even close.
Just got my Mustad size 3 Virginia hooks. they are rather dull. I hope they can penetrate tog lips. You could fall on these hooks and not get a single one in ya. Hopefully they're strong. We'll find out soon enough. I guess I'll have to buy a hook file now.I found that they do sharpen up nicely ( with considerable effort ), strength yet to be determined. Since when are Mustad hooks being made in china? I think this will be their downfall.

Unfortunately... I took a look, and like all things in this world, this is now Made in China (as opposed to Norway on my previous box). Oh well... I hope they stand up to some northeas blackfish!

Have seen them a little cheaper than this but needed the quick shipping for a tog trip. Work great.
