Enjoyed this one
Hail An Morrigan!!! I loved this and the way she included the historic references, Daimler is ways a treat to read because you know you are gonna be educated- now as far as The Morrigan being a Mother, I am one of those who does view her as such- she has always been that for me, no bs, and very hard, ways pushing me on to to do my best, it's tough love but I wouldn't have it any other way. Daimler is incredible and passionate- and historically accurate and I love how she discusses how some of the authors historically just added their own whimsy because they felt like it which was not ok to do and she points out those authors so that those liberties aren't taken as apart of the An Morrigan ways- and the spellings and pronunciations. I was overjoyed to find that the ones that feel rrue to my soul are the ones in aold Irish she attests to being correct, so that literally warmed my heart lol. This was just so enjoyable I sat in my pool feeling her great presence as I read the entire thing in 2 hours. It was enthralling, it felt like an offering of self care. Thank you for your wonderful book, yiur wonderful knowledge. Dedication and study of the Great Queen

Deeper Morrigan Knowledge
This is an excellent follow up to Daimler's "The Morrigan". Her knowledge of The Morrigan lore is extensive. Every Pagan interested in Herself or Irish Deities should really have both books on their shelves.

Wonderful
If you're new to the Morrigan you might want to pick up Morgan Daimler's first book, The Morrigan: Meeting the Great Queens. But even if you're unfamiliar, this book is full of direction for you and enjoyable. For those of us who have walked this path with the Great Queens for years, the book is nothing short of a jewel. It's like sitting down with your good friends and discussing all of the deeper questions that come up as you study the myths. For example "what is the deal with the Morrigan and Cu Chulainn?" or "Is Nemain really one of the Morrignae?" and too many more morsels to list here. Morgan Daimler is definitely what I would call an expert in the topic and that is evident as you read. Plenty of quality sourcing to back up their perspectives. However, it isnt all academia. The author also shares plenty of themself in here via personal experience and even some poetry! It's a fantastically balanced book and I highly recommend it.

The third book I read on my journey with The Morrigan
This book picks up where "The Morrigan: Meeting the Great Queens" ends. Did you know she knows Old and MIddle Irish language? She translates all the myths herself. She is even backed by an Irish native person for her knowledge and depth. What else needs to be said except pick up this book. She breaks down her name, how to pronounce, why it is spelled the way it is, all the different Goddesses associated with HER. All the things some people love to use in summary such as colors, animals, etc. except in great detail and the "why"s. Most of the why's are missing in most books.Want more details to expand your knowledge. This is the book for you.

Readable scholarship
This follow up book on The Morrigan by Morgan Daimler is as well written and as helpful in understanding The Morrigan, as the first one was. Most importantly, this provide accurate scholarship on this deity, while still being an enjoyable read. But the fact that Daimler also offers personal insight and cautionary advice is useful to someone who is trying to grasp both historical facts and a contemporary way of integrating this deity in a personal, spiritual path. I am grateful for the Resources section for additional learning and ritual practice.

Good content
Like the book before it, this book is actually quite short and you can read it in one or two sittings if you've got the time. But it is well written and gives an honest description of the Morrigan that I very much appreciate. I think anyone that feels called by the Morrigan or is interested in her/them should read this book and the one before it.

Good read
She has obviously done a great deal of research on The Great Queen and it shows with the information she shares and her opinions are explained using that research if you're looking for a detailed guide to connecting to The Morrigan this isn't it but if you want to learn more about her or find out how to learn more about her this is the book for you

Accurate and accessible. Highly recommended
Accurate and any personal gnosis is clearly indicated. There is so much utter crap written about the Morrigan out there, it's excellent to have Mx. Daimler's scholarship to refer to.Based on actual Irish lore, not neo pagan fantasy projections, nor influenced by modern gaming or poorly researched Wiccan pseudo history. If you're interested in knowing more about this complex and often misunderstood deity, this is a great resource.

Buy it!!
Amazing book about The Great Queen. Daimler is a phenomenal author! Scholarly Information written in a smooth concise style that is easy to digest. If you are serious about this goddess then this is a MUST read. The author wrote this to follow her first book on the Morrigan. Also an amazing book and one you can use for reference for life. They have several other books on the Irish gods. All recommended !

Interessante approfondimento
Per chi ha letto The Morrigan: Meeting the Great Queens, della stessa autrice, questo secondo volume è un ottimo approfondimento. Consiglio di leggerlo dopo il primo, in modo da conoscere già meglio la Morrigan.
