Amazon Brand - Solimo Handwash Liquid Refill, Sea Minerals - 1500 ml

Many of the anti bacterial handwashes contain triclosan, which kills the good bacteria on our skin along with the bad. It's tough to get a good handwash without triclosan, and this is a decent option without SLS or triclosan. Also, I am prone to allergies, and this handwash doesn't cause flare-up on my hand. Good product at a very good price, only issue is.... its often out of stock.

I have bought so many Solimo, Presto and Vedaka brand products and I don't think any of those products was bad.Coming to Solimo hand washes, I have tried 5 of those and have also reviewed a few here on Amazon.When I buy a handwash I expect it to:1. Get rid of germs,2. be able to get rid of greasiness from hands,3. have less harmful chemicals,4. have good fragrance,5. not cause any skin dryness or itchiness.I have bought this particular hand wash twice (once 1500 ml and earlier 750 ml refill). It is almost pure white in color and appears bit silky. It lathers well and does get rid of greasiness. If you care, in the product description it is mentioned that it is SLS free, which it might be but it does have SLES which many hand washes, body washes and shampoos have.Not sure about honey or almonds but if they say it has those, then I have to believe it. It has very nice fragrance which resembles some baby talcum powder or may be baby soap (Johnson Baby?) and fragrance lasts for half an hour or may be more. It almost completely gets rid of onion oil smell in one wash.It might be just me but after wash it makes hands slightly dry, specially in winters. It does not mention anything about protection from germs though.I had put 300 ml of it in a bottle and 300 ml lasted more than two months when I was the only person using it. Other than dryness there is no issue. I think most hand and face washes etc. dry the skin in winter.It is priced closer to most other hand washes. There is one similar smelling handwash by Fem, which I liked and has slightly less price than this one.So, good hand wash overall but I am deducting one star because there is no mention of it getting rid of germs.

The main reasons we chose to buy this item is (1) vegetarian green dot symbol (2) no animal testing (3) reasonable price. The colour of the liquid is semi-transparent. SEE PHOTO. The bottle is of some other brand. We have refilled it with this liquid.When I placed the order on 18 Jun 2021 the estimated delivery date was 26 June but I received it on 4 July so it looks like the seller ran out of stock. When I was placing the order "only 2 left" was visible. So I guess more than 2 orders got confirmed on their end for the last one remaining pack in their stock. Nevertheless they delivered. But there was no shock absorption or cushioning for the handwash pack within the Amazon cardboard box. Some liquid had leaked in the box so it was basically a damaged item. SEE PHOTO. It wasn't severely damaged but damaged nonetheless. So we chatted with Amazon and they were helpful and refunded the amount after I sent them the photo.The size of the packet is smalle. SEE PHOTO. I wonder if that is one of the causes of leakage. Because if quantity of the liquid inside is more than optimum then it may create excess pressure thereby causing leakage. Notice that as per "use before" dates the newer pack is bigger in size. SEE PHOTO.When I placed the order the best before date of this item as visible on Amazon was 15 Sep 2022. The pack that I received has use before date Sep 2022. So it means the information displayed on Amazon was accurate. After promo, discount, coupon, etc it finally cost me Rs169.15 ie Rs112.77 per litre.

I’m in love with this hand wash liquid.A) it’s work very smoothly.B) the scent is just lovely but only who love honey and almond.C) Value for money.

As a hand wash, it washes and cleans your hands so that’s all great but it just lacks a nice fresh smell that most handwashes tend to have! It has a light subtle smell to it but it’s too light to notice. Maybe try other variants.

Bought a Solimo handwash refill pack and filled an empty Lifebuoy handwash bottle ( with pump ) with this liquid soap.If one wants to reduce single-use plastic waste, refill packs appear to be a good option. Shampoos, Moisturizing liquids, etc etc could be made available in refill tetrapacks by leading brands like Nivea, Head& Shoulders etc.
