Purchased beginning of July 2022, and have used it everyday since, often running multiple times a day.Timer function is really handy, and really easy to set up and change (you have an hour and minute button, so putting it back less than an hour is a bit of a pain).You can put any amount of water in the tank and it will make that much coffee. However making less than half a pot is a really inefficient use of coffee grounds so wouldn’t recommend if you want to make small amounts at a time.The thermos pot keeps it hot for at least 4 hours (6 if you don’t mind luke warm coffee).Fairly easy to clean, as most parts can be removed. The pot can be a bit fiddly to hand wash due to the rim.All in all, a really decent coffee machine for the price. Compared to a family member’s $200 US Ninja machine, I notice 0 difference in taste using the same coffee grounds.

This coffee maker machine makes nice coffee after trying different types of coffee from different manufacturers from Asda to Morrisons ect found the best way to get a nice tasting cup was to get a strong strength the weaker coffee wasn't very nice like other reviews it wasn't Very strong as I love my coffee kind of strong on a morning.l got some Taylors Java Larva beans and used my grinder and the coffee was very nice and tasty nice to wake up to the aroma setting didn't alter the taste that much I use the timer every day and no problems with the function with it the coffee keeps hot for a long time the longest longest time i have ever had with a coffee maker the only thing that i found to be a downside is that you need strong coffee to get a decent tasting cup of coffee but got it right now for a tasty coffee like other reviews here using the maker can cause overflow when the fillter filled that's why I started to use strength 5-6 filter coffee and Java Larva beans for myself to grind for my morning wake up cup so after a lot of testing different coffee i can say i am happy with this machine.HeZ

Being a coffee lover those pod machines just don't cut it... too little, too expensive, so we always buy a filter coffee machine. Being German made, I trust its quality. The coffee is great, easy to clean, can set the time and it switches off after a couple of hours - so you never ruin or over "cook" the coffee.

After my 15 year old machine finally gave up the ghost, I researched filter coffee machines till I was blue in the face: there are so very many to choose from and pros and cons for them all. I eventually decided on a Melitta, as I wanted to try the original German version of a filter coffee machine and to try paper filters instead of mesh. I'm pleased with my purchase. The machine is easy to set up and use. It makes coffee quickly and keeps it very hot, which was important for me. The machine is pre-set to keep coffee hot for 40 minutes, but you can easily change the setting to 20 or 60 minutes, and if it goes off before you're ready you can switch it on again immediately. The machine looks really good and the pot is a lovely shape and pours without dripping. The pot, lid and swivel filter case can go in the dishwasher, another plus point for me. The only reason I have not given it five stars is because I like strong coffee and to start off, I thought the coffee was a bit weak. Now, I put an extra spoonful in the filter and am happy with the result. I do think the paper filters give a better, more mellow flavour than the mesh filter on my old machine. Overall, I am pleased with the Melitta machine, I think it's good value for money, and I would recommend it.

I have all sorts of coffee making contraptions and this is my favourite. I use it every day. I receive lots of compliments about the coffee it makes. Highly recommend!

Love coffee and this is great for a cup of coffee. Easy to use. However there was a distinct dent which wasn’t mentioned before purchasing. Still works though. Timer function is good and easy to figure out. Glad I purchased!

I like the design of this machine, particularly the ease to add water. The big drawback is that it produces weak coffee.I have another cheapish recently bought moulinex filter coffee machine which produces a good strong large mug of coffee with 2 scoops of coffee. This requires 3 scoops to get the same strength. An expensive waste.

Makes great coffee. I have it set to the strongest, so don’t know about the other settings. Was recommended by a coffee blogger and I have to agree. Only con is that it wasn’t clear how to use the de-calc in the instructions. You put the tablet in the water storage and press the calc button. I made the mistake of just pressing the button you would to start making coffee, which wasted 2 de-calc tablets. I use a burr coffee grinder to make the freshest full flavour coffee.
