great deal
This chair is clearly the most value for your dollar with respect to shower chairs. I am able to get myself into the shower and clear all the door thresholds. There is not too much equipment to retain water so when I wheel myself out of the shower I don't leave a big mess. I recommend this chair very highly.

A Capable Product for Home Use
The media could not be loaded. I liked that all the wheels were provided (wasn't sure about this fact from the posted information). That is you have the choice to go all 5-inch casters or mount 24-inch wheels to the back (and swap those configurations at will). An unpleasant note about the front casters: without the footrests in place and the patient's feet dangling, those casters will pivot around and strike their ankles. Probably not harmful, just possibly upsetting for a sensitive person. The assembly pamphlet is poorly conceived and some of the illustrations don't communicate much. One tool is provided for assembly, a 5mm allen wrench. Fine, BUT the assembler will need to have a 10mm wrench (or adjustable, wrench) and a 4mm allen wrench for the axle bracket installation as they are not provided in the package. Assembly requires some degree of mechanical aptitude. That said, the product functions well and looks pretty good.Additional comments May 22, 2020: We have used it continuously now since purchase, and it has performed flawlessly. We use it in conjunction with a pop-up type handicap shower stall. The chair in the four castor configuration fits snugly in the 3-foot square stall but fits even with footrests in place. As it turned out, for the limited distance it normally travels the big wheel option package was unnecessary.I've uploaded an "unboxing" video made to, hopeful, give shoppers a clearer idea of what to expect before buying. The video is also available on YouTube-- just use a search term like *EZee Life unboxing* to find it.

Great chair, nightmare directions
This shower chair is just what we wanted , but putting it together was a nightmare. The directions were not very clear and the pictures were too small .

Did master mechanic put it together
The wheelchair came in 2 boxes. Many pieces that had to be put together and really bad instructions. Emanuel look like it I've been Xerox through the pictures were very dark and difficult to read. The worst part was putting the brakes on the large wheels. They're still not right. I had to have my nephew, a master mechanic, come over and put it together. I would recommend a better manual with much better pictures of where everything goes instead of boxes with parts with no instructions. I still can't use the wheelchair because it's not as tall as advertised. I would only recommend this chair if you've got a good mechanic at home.

The bad and the good.
Believe what other reviewers say about the terrible instructions. They look like the 5th copy of a fax. They also show pictures of a different model. I went to a non-Amazon web site to find proper instructions. It came with one broken piece but since I was only using two small wheels and two 24" wheels I didn't need it. And lastly, it came with one allen wrench. You need two different sizes. You also need two pliers if you want to adjust the axial for the 24" wheels. But since I had all the tools I needed I had no problems assembling it. The good news, it works perfect for our needs. The seat while not plush, was not too hard to sit on. The foot rests swing both out and in which made moving the foot rests out of the way in a narrow confine very easy. Locking the 24" tires to keep it from moving works great even on a tile floor. I give it a 1 on instructions and included tools, but a 5+ on how well it works for what we need.

Several years ago we bought one of these shower/commode chairs. We loved it. it began to wear our on the seat and arm rests and we could not find any replacements for them. Also my husband had gained a few pounds, so when we went to replace the chair we ordered the same one in a larger size. It has been a blessing.

good but doesn't last
It's been a great chair but after two years the rubber on the 24" wheels have come off and I am unable to find replacements anywhere (actually found a pair for over $1000, more than a new unit). So while a good chair be aware parts are not easily replaceable if at all.EDIT: After I wrote this review I did find the name of the company is Healthline Medical and they do in fact sell replacement parts at a reasonable cost. So I added a star to the rating. Still not going to 5 stars because after just 2 years of occasional use I need to replace the wheels.
