This thing is a game changer! I have been trying to use rubber bands to keep my dog out of the room where we feed the cat and it wasn't working well because she figured out that that stretches. I installed this latch and she can no longer get in! It is easy for us to undo when we need to but unless she develops thumbs her sneaking days are over.

It holds well and keeps my delinquent dog from stealing the cat food. The only caveat is that cats can accidentally lock themselves in the room if they push the door closed. So if you use this, you’ll want to somehow block the door from fully closing.

It works as described. I was worried the adhesive wouldn't be strong enough and my dog would just push through the door. But the adhesive is strong and the device keeps my dog out of the litter box. It was easy to install. No screws, just adhesive.

I’ve used this many times, keeps the dog from getting to cat food etc. Also worked great on camper fridge. On door frame and doors I installed using “alien tape”, which allows you to remove this without damage to door & trim. I can wash the strap when dirty and reinstall with fresh alien tape.

Okay so my dog is such a stinker and every morning we were waking up to cat stuff in the living room. It got to the point where we needed to do something I was thinking a cat door but that seemed like alot of work so I found this I was skeptical my husband was even more skeptical but it works perfectly. My concern was my dog is on the smaller side she a mini aussie and she narrow and one of my cats is on the thick side but it works fine my chonker cat can fit and the skinny doggo cant. We have had it for almost a month now and I love waking up with all the little box contents still in the litter box. Also my daughter has no problems opening up the latch to get in there if she needs to. 10 out of 10 do recommend.

Nach ein paar Problemen mit dem Versand (hier reagierte Amazon aber nach dem Anruf prompt und wir bekamen den Door Buddy zwei Tage später geliefert) haben wir unseren Door Buddy installiert und ich muss sagen, es ist genau das, was wir brauchten. Wir benötigen den Door Buddy, um unsere Insektenschutztür zum Garten so zu sichern, dass unsere (reinen Haus-) Katzen nicht in den Garten kommen. Die Türe hat zwar einen Magneten, der sie zuhält, kann aber von gewitzten Vierbeinern an einer bestimmten Stelle aufgedrückt werden oder geht auch auf, wenn sie im Spiel dagegen donnern. Daher musste ich mir etwas einfallen lassen, um die Türe zu sichern. Der Door Buddy hilft dabei enorm. Ich habe zwei davon in der Mitte und unten installiert und nun hält die Türe auch, wenn jemand dagegen drückt, denn sie schnappt sofort in den Magnet zurück, wenn sie aufgemacht wird. Der Door Buddy ist gut durchdacht. Man kann ihn verstellen und man befestigt ihn ähnlich, wie die Tesa Power Strips - das heißt nämlich auch, dass man ihn wieder ablösen kann. Es sind zwei extra Strips dabei, so dass man die Position auch wieder verändern kann. Das Klebeband hält meiner Meinung nach wirklich gut, so wie halt Power Strips auch. Ich gebe gerne 5 Sterne für das Produkt.

I really liked this product! Worked very well in segmenting the door for cats (not baby) and also another door for baby (not cats!). Lifesaver and a great product. Just a little costly for me.
