Well-made but light, very comfortable, great-looking - excellent product
These are more comfortable than any other shoes I've bought, thanks to the cushioning - I've previously bought air cushioned shoes but these are better. I really LOVE wearing them and they give me an extra lift which other shoes don't. These have a larger tongue than many other shoes, it doesn't interfere with wearing them but it means that the tongue doesn't get stuck inside when you put your foot into it. They've lasted 9 months and remain in excellent condition despite every day dog walking and occasional walking in woods or the beach (walking in a couple of large watery areas with no trouble). I've not had to clean them other than running them under an outdoor tap. The orange ones look great. I replaced the laces with matching, orange no-laces and this makes them look fantastic plus they're now slip-ons and a doddle to wear and don't have to be tied. I definitely recommend them and might buy a second, even though my first pair are still doing very well.

Decent walking shots
I was looking for a pair of lightweight walking shoesas I do quite a bit walking with the dog. I wanted something that was both light , waterproof and comfortable. There are probably a lot of shoes out there that might be better than these, but at a more than a price I wanted to pay. I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable they were on and we're quite a broad fitting. I usually walk over different types of ground as I like to let the dog find his own way around , through woods riverbanks and grass etc. They have plenty of grip and are pretty water resistant to a point. As the early morning walks through dew fresh grass and small puddles have left my feet dry and comfortable. Wouldn't go through small streams though as the top layer is perforated to give a cool walking experience and stops the feet getting sweaty. All in all a good sensible walking shoe for everyday use, easy cleaned, good grip, lightweight and comfortable.

Probably not my best buy
I work in a job where I can walk 3 to 5 miles around outside the school in a day. And possibly another 3 walking the dogs. What is positive is that my feet haven't got wet whilst wearing them, even out on long wet grass, or standing around in the rain. Or slipped in mud or similar - the sole is grippy and hard wearing. They also are good at keeping your feet warm. Looks wise they are also good.I've had them for 7 months, but only worn them for 5 of those months, as they were too warm for the really hot spell. The insoles have crushed down and not providing much cushioning anymore, and the outer sole is coming away on the inside seam on the right foot.OK for the occasional walker needing something for the weekend, but I shall be looking elsewhere for my new daily walking shoes for the winter. Disappointing, as I did like the look, and appreciated the warmth and waterproofness of the shoes.

They look the part but don’t let that fool you
So yes, these trainers look the part but as the the title says, please be aware that these shoes are NOT comfortable. I work as a Kitchen Porter full time, 12 hour shifts are a daily routine for myself. So I purchased these shoes and less than 3 hours into my shift, my feet were in agony. Don’t get me wrong, I’m an average guy and I like to use gel insoles in my trainers for comfort, but even they couldn’t stop the pain. It feels like a metal plate is constantly being pressed against my largest toe when lifting my feet to walk (right on the Proximal Phalanx for those that wish to google it) , so after my shift was finished after 13 hours, I was in absolute agony. Upon removing these shoes, instant relief. So I’ve swapped back to my old trainers until I can afford a similar pit to my old ones instead of going for something that clearly can’t perform as advertised.Water resistance was atrocious, I was caught in rain for less than 3 minutes and these shoes were completely soaked through. No water resistance whatsoever.Only other gripe was that these trainers are a little too wide. No idea why, other trainers are at least a 3rd slimmer than this design. Best of luck looking elsewhere for better quality. I’ll be requesting a refund. Sorry.

What's going on with the laces?
I'm on my 2nd pair of these in 6 months. The 1st pair wore out quickly but I'm putting that down to wear from mountain biking ( the pedals have studs ). I've bought again because I find them very comfortable. The sizes come up small so recommend sizing up. My only issue is regarding the laces what's with the loops? Is this a design fault? Anyone else had this problem?
