If you are a disorganized person such as yours truly, it helps to have products that identify themselves. Schmetz manufactures not only one of the best sewing/embroidery needles available, they also color code their needles for people like me! Joking aside, Schmetz needles perform very well right out of the package and keep performing well longer than budget needles. When I factor in the longer life and the quality control that eliminates the occasional needle needing replaced almost immediately, these needles are worth the price.

I use Schmetz needles all the time for sewing, needed some heavy duty to sew thru toweling and velcro. I've sewed since before I can remember and you know when you have a quality made needed. Highly recommend.

It's hard to wax eloquent over sewing machine needles. These arrived quickly, fit my machine, and work. I needed to take in some jeans and I knew I needed stronger needles to get through multiple layers of denim. I popped in one of these and they handled it well. My machine is relatively basic, so I was careful when I went through several layers - using my hand to move the needle - but that was because of the machine, not the needle. All was fine - jeans taken in, no needles broken, and now I have several new things to wear!

Quality brand at a reasonable price. Worked great with my denim project.

Ordered to use on a jelly roll rug for my grand daughters, these needles were recommended in the instructions..they work great
