Olivia Newton-John: Greatest Hits, Vol. 2

And I am here on Amazon to buy it again. That's how good it is. And I have an iPod. I don't buy a cd anymore unless it's great. You can see from some of my more recent reviews how tough I can be as a critic and I don't have anything but nice things to say about Olivia and this compilation. This is Olivia at her peak. In an era of crappy singers like Ashlee Simpson who have to lip synch live and mediocre singers like Jessica Simpson and Pink, in an era where even the great singers like Kelly Clarkson sing stupid lyrics plucked from the reality show vocabulary book (last years word was "jaded")this is absolute pop perfection. It doesn't get any better than "A Little More Love". Huge kudos to John Farrar for writing nearly all of these great pop songs. And to top it all off you are forever easy on the eyes Olivia!

When I was about 8-years-old, I wore my mom's copy of this album OUT! Funny story: When I heard the song, "Physical" for the first time, I exclaimed to my mom in horror, "This song is GROSS!" The, "Lets Get Animal (growl)" was unbelievable to this 8-year-old. My mom responded by saying, "It's a workout song." Now as a 33-year-old woman, I love the song, "Physical" and love the memory even more! :D I love every single track on this CD and I rarely EVER SAY THAT...never given the opportunity to. Olivia is the most talented singer with a powerful and disbelieving voice. John Travolta also appears on "You're the One That I Want", such a fun song! Love his voice too! I have absolutely no negative feedback re: the CD or the condition of it. Perfect all the way 'round! Thank heavens for '70's and 80's music!

I had the big, floppy fold-out album with the beautiful cover and centerfold picture way back in 1982 and played it incessantly, probably driving everyone in the house nuts. Haven't seen this album in so long, so I was delighted to find it on CD. The compact disc has great sound and really brings the songs to life once again. Olivia's beautiful voice shines through, and each song is a classic. The only drawback to the CD version versus the LP album is that you don't get the lovely poster-sized picture of Olivia on the packaging. Oh well, it's still a treat to hear her voice ringing out my speakers once more.

I had the tape for this when I was a young girl and listened to it all the time. Recently I was trying to find it for a project and could not locate it. So I got on Amazon and was able to find it through market place. I am really happy. The cd was not much money and it arrived very quickly. It is also in really good condition. I am enjoying listening to the music I loved as a young girl. It brings back lots of great memories.

I had this years ago, and this was delivered in the same condition as that when new, and very quickly. Thanks!

En este CD se han reunido algunos de los temas más conocidos de Olivia Newton-John, además de otros que aun sin haber sido tan ubicuos, lograron un lugar destacado en su discografía, lo que se agradece. Incluso para mi y a pesar de constituir el volumen 2 lo prefiero por sobre el volumen 1, aunque eso es solo una opinión personal. Creo que su versión de "Jolene" y de "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" son excelentes y destacan tanto o más que las originales. En suma buenas canciones, una hermosa voz, y como dije; para mi, una compra segura.

Super CD ich finde O. N. J echt super. Kann nur von mir sprechen der super Song Xanadu ist drauf der top Song von Elo. Ich habe schon immer von Olivia Newton John im Radio Songs gehört die mir und andere gefallen.

オーストラリア盤は、まず、タイトルが、2 になっている。 国内盤と、同じく、ジョリーンが入っている。オーストラリアでは、日本と同じく、ジョリーンが、シングルカットされたんでしょうね〜。 良い選曲でした。満足。
