Great practice and exercises for creative writing
This book is really good for helping children with creative writing. My daughter often struggles to find descriptive words for use in her writing but this book provides a rich bank of words to help her. The photographs are of exceptional quality and I really like the practical exercises that help my daughter to put the words into sentences using different techniques such as show not tell, rhetorical questions etc. Will definitely be recommending this book to others.

Really good to encourage descriptive writing or reluctant writers.
It also widens vocabulary in an engaging way. The pictures are really lively and colourful.

£8 for a few pages??
This exercise book is not too bad just well overpriced for what it is! I’d expect a double content for the price. It does not deserve more stars at all! There are so many amazing books out there - I was hoping that this one will be a valuable addition to my (my daughter’s) collection. Sadly that’s not the case😔

This books helps develop vocabulary and also creativity when describing settings.
Wonderful pictures to get the imagination going and very helpful vocabulary to go with the pictures. My child is producing more complex and descriptive sentences, and explaining settings in more detail.

It facilitates a child's independence in describing scenes.
Just what I was looking for!!!! I'm constantly on Google images with my children when we come across new vocabulary as they need visual reinforcement.Great book. A lot of thought has gone into choosing a visual and selecting 6-8 descriptive words that help children form complex descriptive sentences. There's also a range of topics from water to transport. The practice exercises are like stepping stones that lead the child into becoming more creative writer.
