The Book of Fairies

This exquisite book, so beautifully illustrated, will charm and delight adults and children alike. Adults will betempted to buy it for a favorite child, theirs or another's, but may wind up buying more than one, one to keepand one to give away, for not owning a copy would be a shame, a loss. Buy it for another, but buy one foryourself, as well. Your heart will thank you.

This book is a classic. I was a gift for our nice. I have not heard from her mother since our niece age 5 however she loves fairs.I wanted her to have stories with illustrations that do not portray fairies in the Tinkerbell disney mode. Michael Hagues lovely book gives her a more tradition view of fairies.

I bought this book for my 4 year old granddaughter, but will definitely not give iot to her for a few years. It has amazing illustrations, but some of them are quite scary and creepy! The text is also not suitable for a small child. All in all, it is a beautiful book and I would recommend it for an older child or any adult that appreciates Michael Hague's fantastic surreal illustarations.

I bought this for my 7 year old niece that loves to catch faries. I wished I looked inside more since it had some pictures that might not be age appropriate yet. The book was in good condition.

I bought this book as a Christmas gift for my 9 yr old daughter. When I got the book I momentarily thought about keeping it for myself because the illustrations were so beautiful. My daughter loves it too, and it has inspired some very creative drawings and fairy stories. Highly recommended.

This was a great gift for my fairy minded sister. She enjoyed it as a diversion from her latest chemo treatment.
