I have tried way too many Darn Tough socks. These are my favorite.Darn Tough has sooooo many different styles of socks that it can be paralyzing to try and choose one, and they cost so much it's important to avoid buying the wrong pair! So, hopefully my review of 3 styles can help you choose.Style 1101 (these) - Element No Show Tab with Cushion- Don't smell- Great fit (XL), nearly no-show on most shoes- Warm in winter, cool enough in summerStyle 1990 - No Show Lightweight with Cushion- Awkward sizing. Large is too small, XL is too big- Smell slightly (less wool than other pairs)- Springy cushion, great athletic sockStyle 1437 - Darn Tough Ultra Light No Show Sock - Men's- Good fit- Stitching at the toes is prominent and annoying- Very lightweight, good for summer, too cold for other seasonsFor reference, I'm a size 12 shoe with 11.25" long feet.

These socks are so comfortable. The blend of wool and other fibers make them not stink after hours of activity. I have ordered 4 more pairs as a result of trying these out. These are also the only socks (company) that have lifetime warranty. Idk how long it will take to wear a hole in them, but hopefully it is not any time soon. There is a significant quality difference between these and any other run of the mill socks you buy in 6 packs. Highly recommend!

They are thin, but very comfortable. I would buy again.

I have an older pair of this brand. They are absolutely great. No slippage, with a lot of threads. Although I like the new ones they do not have the same amount of threads

I have five pairs of these DTs. I have hiked some major mountains they have mostly held up. When they get hot spots or holes, I just send them back for new ones. The customer service at Darn Tough is outstanding.

Great socks and very comfortable. Be careful with the sizing though, I typically wear 11.5 shoes, but need the XL (12.5-14.5) for all Darn Tough socks. Large are so tight they are uncomfortable.

These socks a the very best socks that I've ever owned. I have both no show for playing golf and Pickleball as well as ankle length for wear with hiking boots. They wear like iron and feel like silk on your feet. I've even given them as a present to my grandson. He plays both Tennis and Golf for a High School team and he said that he normally wears out a pair of sock per tennis match. So far the Darn Tough socks are living up to their name! If they do wear out, they are covered by a lifetime replacement warranty! Who could ask for more.

These socks are fantastic. I was a die-hard Icebreaker sock fan for years. They were light-weight, came in many different styles, thicknesses and colors, didn't smell, and had a rock-solid return policy. Only downside was the soles of the socks were quite thin, so I ended up using that return policy more often than I liked. Fast forward 10 years, and their return policy has changed so much that isn't so good any more. So I needed an alternative.These Darn Tough socks are thicker than the Icebreaker socks that I am accustomed to. So I was expecting my feet to be super sweaty by the end of the work day. Surprisingly, they are not! I was impressed. It must be because the tops of the sock are thinner, which allows excess heat to escape. I like the thicker soles....I feel like they will be a lot more durable than my Ice Breaker socks. I'm hoping for at least few years of solid use before trying out their Lifetime Guarantee.
