Great Soap Holder--Adheres Well.
This is a great soap holder. I read a number of reviews that stated the holder wouldn't stay affixed, but I think if you follow directions closely it will hold just fine. This unit uses suction to adhere to the surface, but arrives at it differently than the traditional rubber dome that you press on. That method means that the vacuum/suction created is only as good as the cup that tries to return to its original shape. The Bino holder does it differently It starts with a flat disk which is pulled outward by turning a knob/dial. The vacuum/suction is created when the disc is pulled out in the middle and thus is dependent on the force of the pulling out. This creates a much greater adherence. The trick is to make sure the suction disc is perfectly flat to begin with. You do this by turning the knob counterclockwise. Then you press hard and turn the knob clockwise until it won't turn anymore--as hard as you can. Clean the disc and surface you're placing it on well--I used rubbing alcohol. My tub enclosure is fiberglass and the unit is still on strong after more than a month. One small caveat. The dish itself is plastic-coated metal. It attracts a magnet. It could be a low-grade stainless steel, but is more likely just plain steel. If the plastic coating deteriorates, there could be a rust problem. One final note. All suction devises lose some suction over time, so I recommend tightening up the devise by turning the knob hard clockwise periodically--say once a month. UPDATE: Still adhering after one year.

Does not move! Great suction on these products and holds up very well!
These smart suction shower caddy product line is great! I was hesitant to purchase another suction style caddy as our last ones would fall at the worst of times (during sleep) and scare the pants out of us. You can imagine the noise it would make with a couple shampoos and body wash along with the metal wires, not a good way to be woken up!! So we decided to give this product a try and could not be happier. We have 2 items in this product line, Corner Basket and the Combo Basket. Do yourselves a favor and read the install directions. They indicate to clean your wall surface (avoid grout lines at all costs), clean the suction backing and apply pressure as your turn the knob clockwise to tighten the suction cup to the wall. These products have been in our shower, directly in the water path and have not moved nor shown signs of rust. Great product and do exactly as advertised. Could not be happier of how these products have functioned for us. I would highly recommend for those who need more storage in their shower.

It just won't stay put
Honestly, I'd give it a five star if it stayed on the wall. It looks great and I love that it needs no glue or adhesive of any kind, just suction. It sounded like a good idea so I bought it. I wanted to love it but it fell off the wall after about 24 -36 hours....every time. Tried it in our brand new shower (insert) in several locations and it seems to really adhere to the surface but then after a period of time you'll simply find it on the shower floor. Then I tried it on several other locations throughout the house, on the wall in the downstairs bathroom right next to the sink. Today I found it laying in the sink so that's all she wrote. I'm going to return it. If the seller can fix the problem I'd be willing to try it again. Too bad.

Extremely happy
I got this so that I don't have to drill holes into the bath tiles. The item comes with installation instructions. It is very sturdy and can take a lot of weight. Not sure how much, but I hang a shower hose which is metal and fairly heavy, about 5 lbs.. This could possibly take even more weight. Suction and staying power is great. I applied it when I received it and it is still where it is. Applying is it. Just clean a smooth, flat surface. Leave some water on the tile. Loosen the screw knob till the suction cups are nearly flat. Push and turn the knob until it stops turning.

Works great...needs better documentation.
It took me about 20 minutes to figure out how to make this work with my shower, which has irregular corners, which don't form perfect right angles, but once I did it worked fine (so far). I purchased this, along with another brand that had 4 standard clear rubber suction cups, and the other brand wouldn't work at all...only 1 suction cup even layed flat on the shower, and it wouldn't stay put for more than a minute. If I could make a suggestion both to the manufacturer and the merchant(s) that sell the BINO SmartSuction, it would be to provide better installation instructions as to how to move/reconfigure the 2 suction cups to get the best fit for your shower type/style. In my case, I had to move completely remove both suction cups, and place them on the corners before it would fit my particular shower. Upon doing so, it actually appeared the BINO was designed just for such a problem...but it didn't mention it in the instructions. Also, since the suction devices are all plastic, and they're tightening on plastic, there needs to be some form of rubber bushing provided, or already in place, to ensure you don't overtighten and possibly break the plastic knob and/or threaded shaft underneath. Overall, I'm very please with this product, and would recommend it over all other competitor's products, based on both fit and overall quality. If BINO pays attention to customer feedback, the next version they make would likely be the "better mouse trap" of the corner shower caddy market.

Difficult to make stick but very nice
Very difficult to install on shower wall. Not good instructions. Requires muscle. I could not get them to stick. That said, once I got help installing them, they are beautiful and functional in my shower, much nicer than the cheap plastic things they replaced. They have been up at least a month. I hope they stay on a long time. I recommend a buy only if the purchaser is confident about being able to install.
