It's complicated
Actually, it's not. It's an elastic belt with a buckle and a couple stretchy things to hold your number. I haven't used it yet, but I've been nagged by email to submit a review. It appears well constructed and I expect I'll lose it in my closet abyss of sports gear long before it wears out. I'll probably rediscover it years from now, when somebody that's not even born yet is President. I'll probably be hunting through the closet for a roll of 35 mm film and find it entangled with my Palm Pilot. I'll probably figure the belt had something to do with the Palm Pilot and try for hours to connect them, while I'm supposed to be retrieving the 35 mm film just to use the canister to fill with grass clippings for some reality game 80s weed simulation prop. My wife will find my 145 year old butt sitting on the floor, playing with a race belt and a Palm Pilot, and give me that side eye look when I say "I was trying to find something to hold the pot for the VR game". She'll remind me it's a race belt, tell me stop playing games, and go scoop the litter box. If you're thinking about buying this, I hope you have a good race, and that your cat poops outside. Cheers.

The belt is okay
They said laid out flat the belt measures 44 inches. It does not measure 44 inches. If it did it would go around my waist easily. I am a cyclist, I did not want something that was going to constrict me like my heart monitor. I have no adjustment on this belt since it is adjusted to it's longest position. The belt I received measures 36 inches. I must have gotten the one sewn by someone with one of those Chinese measuring tapes. LOL I can't imagine riding 121 miles with this around my waist.

Not for the super skinny
This bib number holder works pretty well, but there is a limit to how much you can adjust it. I'm pretty small, and I wanted to wear the bib number a bit higher up on my waist, but the belt is a bit big on me so it falls down to my hips basically. It still works, but I wish I could adjust it more so it would fit better.

A runners accessory necessity
Great product for anyone that runs. Much more convenient than pinning bibs to your shirt. It came in handy at a relay race, because I was able to quickly take my bib off in between rotations. It also came in handy for a cold race. I attached the belt over my jacket and was able to easily shed the jacket during the run (since my bib wasn’t pinned to it).

Perfect for race day...
I waited until using this on race day before submitting a review. I found that the race number belt was a great way to keep my bib as well as my keys on race day. I usually run with a belt to carry my phone, however; for big races where I usually drive to the location, I also need a place to keep my keys. This fits the bill. Twice this year I have entered races where they did not have safety pins, this is a perfect substitution. Can't wait for my next race! I would highly recommend.

Great value
This is the first race number belt I have worn. Purchased for and wore during the 4 mile run of my first triathlon. I had no issues with the belt. Based on other reviews, I was worried it may not fit...I am a large male, 6'1 and 230+ lbs that wears a size 36 waist in shorts/pants. This belt fit great and could have been loosened another 4-6 inches for someone with a bigger waist. The clip for the belt is extremely strong closure, I had no worries about this belt coming un-clipped during the run. The belt has very good stretch/elasticity but not too much..the belt stayed perfectly in place when worn up around my ribs and down at my waist.

easy to use
Just used this in a race. At one point I thought it fell off because it wasn't distracting at all. While I don't race a lot, this has been added to my race gear. Simple, easy to use, highly recommend.

Essential for competitive walkers and runners
Perfect for running/walking, especially when you need to add or remove layers. I just slide it down in my hips, make adjustments, then slide it back up. No pin pricks in clothing. Very convenient. A must for those who walk/run competitively.
