Moreishly addictive - soooo good
After a traumatic search to find my Halva (Royal Mail delivered elsewhere) I decided to open a box and try this Halva, the other box was to be a gift. Best I’ve ever tasted, so rich, lots of pistachios and melts in the mouth. Honestly this is the perfect gift and I’ll be ordering more it’s so moreish.

Strange taste
Having recently thoroughly enjoyed real Greek halva, I thought I’d give this make a try. It seemed a good amount for a good price. When cutting it I felt it lacked the usual texture and was too smooth. The taste was very sweet but lacked the sesame distinctive taste, again not much texture, like it was whipped up before packaging. Although there were bits of what I guess were pistachio nuts (said 7%), they were tiny, soft and certainly not plentiful as in the front illustration. The ingredients stated it had only 50% sesame, but had soy lecithin as emulsifier, palm oil and flavors (?), and obviously lots of sugars. Palm oil is not that great, and I prefer to have fewer additives in any food I buy. If you are looking for cosher halva then this might be perfect, and it is made in Israel, but I cannot say I have enjoyed it that much, and once it’s gone, I will not be buying it again.

That there are still little nuts in the halva
It's delicious and affordable I didn't expect little nuts in it can't chew nuts because of dental problems,but I removed them just be aware,it won't stop me from buying the halva it's to good for a healthy great sweet

Tougher to chew then other brands
It tastes good but is a lot tougher to chew then other companies I’ve had... kinda like it was alittle old or it’s just not as light & fluffy like the kind you get from the Greek corner store
