Couplings are hard to close
The hose is durable and easy to store. The couplings are difficult to connect together after a short period of time. This is a short term solution to moving water from one place to another.

Great for pool backwash.
Add a male coupler and its a great way to drain or backwash your pool. Much better material than the pool hose replacement.

Excellent value
Very durable and and excellent value. A better buy than going to a local store. Really sturdy, I use this as a overflow drain for a pond. Across a driveway. And I drive over it daily

Good design, but not for me
It is definitely a good product, but it didn’t come as I expected it too. Needed more parts to make it usable.

for pool waste, stick with the cheap vinyl hoses
Bought in May for pool filter waste and already the hose sprung a leak. Has been stored out of sunlight, and rolled, not folded, after use. The promise of durability is a joke. Connector is durable, but constructed to wrong specifications. The sealing washer supplied is too thick, therefore the connector cannot be clamped without the cam damaging the mating surface with deep grooves. It works satisfactorily after re-machining the mating surfaces, and replacing the washer supplied with a thinner "O"ring. I bought this to replace the cheap vinyl hoses usually used for this purpose, but I had better overall success with them, than with this product. BIG disappointment!

Discharge hose
I really like the quality and price of the hose. It comes with two metal hose connectors which are superior to plastic one's. The hose is of good quality and holds up well when pressurized with a 5 hp centrifugal pump. I highly recommend.

Good quality hoses but you need a conversion clamp to attach to threaded connectors
The product appears to be just what I need for my discharge on a gasoline powered water pump. I did have to order a conversion clamp from the hose ends quick release type clamps to a threaded type connection.
