works great and easy to install. not very loud either.
had the powertrax newer quieter version in my k1500 and it was loud, kept disengaging, pain to install. i pulled it out and put the proven so called louder version in with less parts and this one works awesome! quieter, always works the way its suppose to, easy to install. i have one in my 2000 chev blazer for last 4 years without a problem and for someone that wants increased traction without breaking the bank this is it. i have put my blazer through alot off road with swampers on it and most times two wheel drive works. i put this in my k1500 for better traction in the winter months and have not regretted it yet.

Necessary equipment.
Wanted to replace the Powertrax No-Slip in the rear differential, found out the problem was in the transfer case.Installed a new spring kit in the No-Slip, still works great. Already have a Lock-Right in the front axle so will keep this one as a spare, or sell it if I find someone with a truck like mine who wants the ultimate traction solution!

Perfect for daily driver and serious offroading.
This locker is plug and play. It turns an average 4x4 to a monster. All about that traction. There is zero room for spacing error so if your carrier is slightly worn get ready to use paper thin shims. Otherwise you will destroy the rear end.

Works great
Installed in my 4x4 s10, I don’t need to use 4wd much anymore. Both rears get power. Pulling out hard in a turn will cause inside rear to chirp. In snow it can get ass happy! But if you are careful it makes a huge differance. If I had a 2wd truck I would install one of these first thing. I do not see a downside to it. Haven’t noticed any extra tire wear. Highly recommend
