This release is exactly the same as the Heart of Gold Live Box set with the different cover which currently retails at £28!!! The inner sleeves are exactly the same too. The actual title of this cheaper version is Journey Through The Past on the box.As to sound quality.... Well I'm only on Disc 3 and the Snack Benefit stuff is very poor, the remaining stuff on the disc is obviously an audience recording but isn't bad. The 2nd Disc is the Bottom Line which has just been officially released, minus a lot of the in-between banter. This disc includes it all and isn't bad quality.If the rest of the set is as good, it's an absolute bargain at less than £2 a disc. Grab it!

If you have previously bought Neil Young bootlegs from Amazon, there's a good chance this will double up - CD's include part of Bottom Line, Transmission etc. - have a good search of track listings before paying out.If you haven't previously bought bootlegs - 10 CDs for £25 is an absolute steal, even if the quality is up and down in places.

This is a boxset comprising 10 CDs of various Neil Young songs where he is joined by David Crosby and Graham Nash with a variety of their early (glorious) material. Each cd has its own cardboard Sleeve with a different image. Each cd’s content is different. On what I’ve listened to so far the recording quality is acceptable. These are largely live recordings with audience applause, calls and screaming interspersed. However, if this set had cost £99.00 you might say “well worth it”. But at £14.99 what a bargain. I suggest you buy whilst you still can. These are wonderfully nostalgic songs that are rewarding to listen to. Fantastic

The quality of the recordings is a bit patchy but more than acceptable (in fact better than some of the "official" archive releases!). The quality of the packaging is perhaps the biggest surprise given the price, very good.

I am a long fan of Neil Young and collect any of his records

A mixture of very good recordings and some not up to his normal standards.I have always been a fan of Neil Young and have most if not all of his work however I would say this set is for the fans and not for new listeners to his music.

Schöne Edition von "halb-offiziellen" Live Aufnahmen aus verschiedenen Neil-Konstellationen.Für Sammler sicherlich eine sehr schöne Sache und ein Muss.Die Tonqualität ist okay.- Gemessen an dem originalen Neil Album "A Letter Home" sogar als sehr gut zu bezeichnen... 😉Der durchschnittliche Konsument kommt möglicherweise ohne diese Box aus.Ich bin dankbar dass ich eine erwischt habe! 👌🎶🎸😊🖖

Es un artículo especialmente diseñado para fans de Neil Young pues no dejan de ser bootlegs que, aunque no suenan mal, no tienen el sonido más limpio. Es una buena muestra del potente concierto de este gran artista folk con una trayectoria tan dilatada.Me gusta que, de forma progresiva, va avanzando en años con cada cd, de manera que comenzamos en 1972, acompañado de los Crosby y Nash, para finalizar en los años 90. El disco noveno también tiene colaboración con Crosby, Stills, Nash y también con Jackson Browne.Viene una cajita con cartones cd dentro. Me hubiera gustado que, aparte del nombre de las canciones hubieran incluido algo más de información, pero por el precio pagado está bastante bien. Estoy muy satisfecho.

Questo è un cofanetto composto da 10 CD di varie canzoni di Neil Young dove è affiancato da David Crosby e Graham Nash con una varietà del loro primo (glorioso) materiale. Ogni cd ha la sua custodia in cartone con un'immagine diversa. Il contenuto di ogni cd è diverso. Su quello che ho ascoltato finora la qualità della registrazione è accettabile. Si tratta in gran parte di registrazioni dal vivo con applausi del pubblico, chiamate e urla intervallati. Tuttavia, se questo set fosse costato 99,00£ potresti dire «ne vale la pena». Ma a £14.99 che affare. Ti suggerisco di acquistare finché puoi. Sono canzoni meravigliosamente nostalgiche che sono gratificanti da ascoltare.
