Wrong address
Well the filters are great, well worth the money. But I put in the delivery address and it got sent to my other home. What's the point of asking about delivery address if no one reads it

Best for whole house system
If you have a GE or other brand whole house water filtration system in line then this filter is the best that I’ve had and used not only on my house on one of my rental houses and the reason they work the best is because if he use the thinner filters they don’t block it much and if you use the really thick filters the solid filters then they block too much and if you don’t keep an eye on it they will actually crack because the water can’t feel trade through them anymore because they’re actually too good so these are in the middle range and they work very well and I found that if you take them out the one out when it’s dirty and put a second one in so you only buy two and then the one that you take out and dirty soak it in a 5 gallon bucket of water with a cat full of muriatic acid overnight and then the next morning rent often it’s ready to be used again over and over that and that we save money and I have to keep buying them just FYI

A dependable 5-micron whole house water filter.
These are excellent 5-micron filters and are sold at an attractive price.I've purchased several of these over the span of several years, and I replace them using a two month cycle. The filters have done an exceptional job of capturing sediment and iron sulfide crystals that are present in the house water well. Prior to using these filters, I tried a variety of pleated filters, but these required more frequent replacement and the 30-micron rating meant that each one passed smaller sediment and sulfide crystals. As with any brand, the lifespan of these filters will depend on the condition of your water source. A max. 6-month duty cycle is listed by the manufacturer, but realistically, your water source would need to be especially clean to begin with to expect that outcome to happen. In particular, a 5-micron filter will trap more sediment than, say, a 30-micron filter but the former will not last as long in a dirty water environment as will the latter.

Leaks at threaded inlet
After a couple attempts and ample sealant (teflon) tape , this thing STILL leaks at threaded inlet fitting. I have had to cut apart the water lines to try and fix and since this is in a tight area , room to move and room for error isn't available. So I am going to tear it apart another time and use a heavier duty plumbers tape/putty to attempt to seal the threads. If it doesn't work , I'll cut my losses , get a different brand and throw this in the trash. This filter is replacing the slightly smaller unit that you can't get o-rings for. Perfect.UPDATE: Rating change Used a heavier duty sealant tape for plastic threads and the leak is gone. Suggest to anyone installing to use PVC thread tape ..
