Amazon Basics TS 1/4 Inch Guitar Cable, Tweed Cloth Jacket Right-Angle Instrument Cable for Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Amp Cord, 10 Foot, Yellow & Brown

OK - I will address the most important aspect of a guitar cord first - even though it's not the focus of my review... - The cord sounds great. I am not some Audiophile...I just know a crappy cord when I hear one - This is a good cord because it's transparent, no level drop-off, loss or distortion of sound quality or EQ, and most importantly ...no induced noises, buzzing, crackling, hums generated by the cord. - The reason I am 5Star-ing the cord is mainly because of the ends and the build . After TWO TIMES having to go to the Repair Tech at GC - and have him fix my jack because I likely put my acoustic down too hard on the stage floor... Screwing up the jack, Breaking it before I could play on stage (Sadness)... - Cost like $50bucks to check/ fix each time. - (The Tech suggested I look into a 90º /Right Angle Guitar Cord) - I did, and I have not had the problem since. - I like the cord because of the build of the Right Angle Plug is a Very Solid One-Piece Jack - In the past, these 90º jacks were a straight piece - connected to the flat Jack, held together by 2-4 tiny screws...which always fell out over time, became loose and noisy... - Also.... two things that seem trivial, But are VERY helpful, when you have finished playing on a small dark stage and the Host is yelling at you to get Your Gear and YourSelf off of his stage ASAP! - The Cord has a "braided" covering - not sure of the mechanics why, but the cord tends to Not get tangled as easily - and when it does - definitely not as severely as a regular cord. - Also the colour -the stripe-y Yellow colour is definitely helpful when trying to quickly find your main cord against a dark floor - in the dark.... It's a Small thing, But in that moment, it's a Huge Thing! - The Low Price for that Level of Overall Quality, Build / Design Features / Sound Quality - and Potential Money / Tech Headaches Savings ... tells me that it deserves a 5Star. My confidence at that "Moment of Truth" when the Sound Guy says to "Plug in and turn up the volume" - is definitely worth WAY More than $9bucks!

Time will tell how long it lasts, but out of the packaging this cable is great. Feels sturdy, no buzz or hiss, and looks nice to. Will definitely buy this again if I ever need a replacement.

I’m mixed on this one. On one hand it’s a decent cable but this is the first time where I’ve seen a cable where the jack itself is off by just enough to make it not seat firmly. Doesn’t seem where one would cheap out. The metal itself does feel a little cheap but making it a tad too small is weird to me. I’m not sure if it’s a dud or fluke. I mean it’s inexpensive. That being said it works. It has popped while I was playing so I wouldn’t gig with it but it’s okay. Other than that it’s fine looks nice materials are Okay. I think this might be a hit or miss product

I recently picked up a used guitar and amp at a garage sale but the chord to attach the two had a short in it that caused a lot of crackling static. The set up was well used and reflected the many years of play, so I wanted something with a bit of 'antique' look to it. This chord is absolutely perfect. I love the tweed look and with 10' length I have plenty of room to move about. The plug in ends are well designed and quite firm in their attachment and I have no worries about this one causing problems. Nice chord, great price and it looks great to boot.

This cable punches above its weight for under ten bucks. Very nice cloth jacket is flexible and durable, with no fraying or wear after several months. The plugs fit well in standard .25” jacks with no hum or feedback from the cable itself (superior to some other basic cables which never seat right). Be aware that the angled side has very little stand-off from the base of the plug, so you’ll need a couple inches of flat faceplate area on either the guitar or amp side to plug in (see photo)

Works great, and looks great. I haven't had any noise issues. Just the same as any other cable ive ever used.

Ich brauchte ein Kabel für den Ebass vom Effektgerät zum Verstärker. Hab das günstigste genommen und es nicht bereut! Preis Leistung ist sehr gut. Nur zu empfehlen 🙂
