Very Cool Stuff RED12 Gazing Stainless Steel Globe, 12-inch Diameter, Red

This cost about the same as the glass globes and was well worth it.. We were replacing a globe about once a year with the glass ones. They break so easily. This has solved the problem. The only thing that has happened since we bought it about 2 or 3 years ago is a slight peal of the paint on top. Its still far better than replacing the glass globes so often.

I received my red gazing ball a day and a half after ordering it, and I love it. I put it on a pedestal in my garden in rural northern NH and looked out the next morning and it was gone! Apparently a large animal (deer or moose) didn't like seeing his image and knocked it off, sending it over a bank and into the woods. (Being red and shiny, it wasn't hard to find). I put it back and one more time, an outraged animal knocked it off into the woods, so this time I put the birdbath back on top of the pedestal and then placed the ball within it and anchored it with stones.If this ball had been glass, it would've been history, so I'm very grateful it's stainless steel. Yes, it has some scratches on it now, but it's intact and still looks gorgeous. I love red, I love shiny, and this product is the perfect addition to my flower garden. Now, if only I could get rid of the woodchuck who's eaten the tops off all of my phlox!

Looks much bigger that it really is, but nice.

Pro: This is a beautiful dark red gazing ball that should last you for years.Con: Depending on your preference, this ball has no neck (which should have been stated in Amazon's description).

Looks as good as photo, probably dent if dropped on concrete .dropped on wood floor no problem. Dog knocked glass ones over and break ,these he'll have to work very hard to damage. Kinda expensive, but buy two glass and break them could of had this one forever. I bought two 12 inch and a 10 inch.won't ever need to replace these,

I wanted red for my front yard as our house is modern. In the daylight the color is pink not red. I gave it two stars because it is a nice piece - just not red. It has been returned. Very disappointed.

This globe is beautiful. Have not had any strong winds yet to test it's staying power. The globe does not have a neck on it so it just sits on the stand. I always read the reviews of the products that I buy and the reviews of previous buyers were fairly positive . The red color is gorgeous and I have had many compliments on the globe. I wish they had more color choices so I could change out the globe for different seasons. Very pleased!!!

This is the second Red 12 mirror ball stainless I have purchased and I am very pleased with the product. The color was as shown and it has been outside in the heat, partial sun and rain without discoloring or peeling as others have said has happened to them. I would recommend this product.
