Connectivity
I expected this book to be longer, but I was not disappointed. The content is plentiful. I enjoyed reading this book and recommend it to anyone looking for a sense of community in the craft world. I live in a rural area full of artisans, yet it is difficult to get together with them. The topics and projects in this book are thought-provoking and fun. I will be making several of the things in this book and hope to be able to meet some of the interviewees.

Bored? Get this book!
If I ever think that I have nothing fun to do, I get this book off the shelf and look for a project that will be "green" and recyclable and then I dive into a new craft. This is one super book to have out on your coffee table, too. Well worth the price.

Log Cabin Challenge
I purchased the book for the gorgeous log cabin pattern. I have started the project and look forward to visiting the other projects included.

Knitters will love this!!!!
Beautiful book, great projects, but NOT for the beginner. The knitting projects in here are beautiful but require a solid knowledge base. There is only one quilt and although it technically qualifies as a quilt, it has very little piecing. It is a small wall hanging that requires image transfer and fabric painting. A few other different craft mediums are highlighted. Lots of good informations on charitable organizations. Overall a nice collection, but I am a quilter first and an untalented knitter...so I may pass this book on to an accomplished knitter friend.

Inspiring
Lots of good ideas and it’s good to see people using their creativity to help others . A good read.

Not Enough
Thought it would have more actual patterns for items, but it's just an idea book with a few random instructions. Too much fluff, not enough content.

Great projects
I got this book because it has a beautiful pattern for a log cabin blanket made out of Noro yarn. There are so many other interesting things to make in this book.

very easy to follow book about craft and how groups of people coming together to do something they love can benefit others in the community. It could be knitting to aid humanitarian aid over seas, or at home for local homeless people. It could be to get people together to get them interested in other projects

Not for me
I was really disappointed by this book, I expected a more intense activism and related craft. Instead it is a collection of easy and often uninteresting projects, with lack of originality. The title is misleading.
