From the Diary of a Snail

Gunter Grass' book takes place in 1969, but is appropriate now. The political campaign of Germany he wades through in such an intense and universal way, that the book is a classic. It is something to reread every five years and each time, new insight into the human condition is gained.

What can I say ..... Gunter at his very best....... outstanding, thought provoking, brilliant ....... not a light read ..... loved it.

great book

It's a good copy. Font size is comfortable for people with compromised eye sight. Fairly good paper quality. But as was promised, IT IS NOT HARD BOUND. Amazon is proving to be a disappointment these days. This is my second bad review.
