Knit Your Own Boyfriend: Easy-to-Follow Patterns for 13 Men

It's a really cute book, however, for a novice knitter or someone who has NEVER touched knitting needles, this book could be challenging. The instructions aren't clear for those that don't know what they're doing. I decided to keep it because I really didn't want to pay return shipping for it. I've just decided to try and learn basic knitting in order to tackle the cute options inside. Having said that, it may be easier to find an actual flesh and bone; human boyfriend. =)

I've made one Boyfriend so far and I love reading through and giggling at all the yarn jokes inside. The finished product was rather cute.

It is easier to make a calico doll and knit clothes or create fabric ones..I am an experienced knitter but was not satisfied with the appearance of the doll when it was filled with toy stuffing. The arms certainly wanted covering with clothing, where they adjoined the body. .I did knit two dolls, a beekeeper and a gardener dressed in clothing of my own design. Cover up the knitting is my advice, however evenly you knit.

This has been bought as a Christmas present and i am sure it will amuse and entertain
