Smooth and Durable so far.
I go through a lot of reels. Im a fishing guide for blue catfish in Oklahoma. I always try one or two of this brand or that brand and see if they hold up or not. I find fault with most reels I use. Im really really hard on my stuff. I cast as far as I can and they ride in my boat floor getting banged up. So far this reel hasn't had any issues and is my favorite to cast. It casts far with 30lb mono. I have been running two of them for 3 months now and bought another two. Me and other guides are running a different Piscfun bait caster for the big 100lb paddlefish. We use 100lb braid on those and catch multiple fish in the 40 to 100lb range every day. So far those reels are holding up great as well. I just don't understand the brand name Piscfun?? Really??? I should take off a star for that. lol

Great Reels!
Iโve purchased two 50 class and one 60 class of this reel, and theyโve exceeded every expectation. Iโve used them for trolling striped bass and reeling in big blue catfish, and theyโve performed flawlessly in both situations. The reeling action is smooth and reliable, even under heavy loads. The drag system is steady and responsive, and the build quality is clearly made to withstand hard use. These reels have taken a beating on long fishing trips, and they still work like theyโre brand new.

Good for what it is
This is a value priced baitcaster. I have three of them and one already started acting up less than a year after purchase. We use them very often...several times a month all year round...so more than a lot of reels get used on average. The reel is smooth and the drag is good...initially. They cast well with 30lb mono and have handled some decent sized fish up to 45lbs. I would say if you used a reel two or three times a year and was not terribly hard on your equipment, it's a pretty good deal. They are very valued priced and easy to replace. If you were dipping your toe into the baitcaster pool this would be a good reel to check and see if you like this style of reel. If you were going to buy a reel to teach a beginner the ins and outs of a baitcaster, also this is a good reel for that. The function is good as is the performance...they just don't see to hold up very well and the quality control seems spotty. Bottom line is that it is a cheap reel that functions very well within the parameters I have stated. When you get it, you will be impressed. It is only over time and use does the weak points start to show. I still have two in use...one about 16 months old and they perform OK. You get what you pay for. If you have been using ABUs, these are not a replacement. No matter what you read or what you see on You Tube. For the money, buy a used ABU and get it serviced or clean it and lube it yourself. You may spend a bit more, but you will be happier in the long term.

Great action at a good price
I bought two of these reels and used them the next day matched with MadKatz rods. Very smooth cast. I caught a 37 lb. Catfish on one and 26 lb on the other. Very good for the price.

A very good Catfish and Striper reel!
I bought this to use whenever I go fishing for Stripers and Catfish. This real is very easy to set up and cast. I have no issue with backlashing since I adjusted the settings to where I needed and was comfortable to use with my set up. I love the bait clicker feature when I was trolling so I can tell when the fish took the bait and was running if I was looking elsewhere or distracted with something else. The reel feels and looks great, and the performance was outstanding when reeling in a good fighting fish.
