Waste of money
I’m a general contractor and I buy a lot of prep materials on Amazon and was very disappointed that this product wouldn’t stick to anything. It was a big waste of money.

I have been building a pull-behind camper trailer
I am building my camper on a 6x14 foot flat utility trailer. The first part was making the wood "subfloor" for the camper on the metal trailer's base. I did begin the walls, but before I started work on the interior, I wanted, needed to put down the finshed floor. I have manufactured wood floorng that click together and laid the floating floor material beneath it before I laid the finished flooring down. This wood flooring was down and now, before going on, I used this protection film to put down a layer over the finished flooring. Now I could finish the exterior/interior walls and roof/ceiling of the camper as well as put together the interior's galley, seating/dining area, shower/toilet area and the sleeping area. Of course, "hidden" parts of the build as well - the plumbing and electrical parts to make it a comfortable camper. But in all the work, my finished wood flooring stayed clean and neat without scratches, ground in dirt or paint drips ruining that first part of completing my camper build. Worked great!

Useful. Adhesive keeps film from sliding.
I found this product to be useful and practical. It was especially valuable when I needed to strip paint from an old chest of drawers. It stayed in place, and I didn't worry that solvent would drip under the film, thus damaging the varnished wood floor beneath. I have used a wide variety of floor protection when painting, sanding, using solvents (as in the case above), cleaning greasy auto parts, and multiple similar uses. I used to prefer canvas tarps because the weight kept them in place; this is especially true when compared to most plastic or vinyl disposable floor protection. Ultimately, plastic proved to be ineffective more often than not, and my canvas tarps took up to room to store. Besides, the cloth inevitably became dirty - too dirty to store even when I had room. This product stayed in place. The adhesive was strong enough to keep it anchored to the floor, but was not so strong that I couldn't remove it when my job was done. I had one minor issue when I placed a metal ladder (with a worn-out rubber pad) on the product. That caused a small tear. No harm was done, and it was a good reminder to always be careful. ("Be careful there, son!" - in my father's voice - came to mind.) I like this protective film, and recommend it. Remember to use ordinary care!

Adheres Well
I haven't fully covered a floor yet but I cut off a strip to test it. It adhered well to vinyl and hardwood flooring, it didn't slip and after leaving it overnight on each surface, it pulled right off without leaving any adhesive on the floor. I tried it on tile flooring which has a very slight texture to it (similar to slate) and it did adhere lightly but I don't think it would stand up to any traffic. If you were painting and wanted to cut a narrow strip to protect the tile from paint drips, I think that this film would work fine. But in fairness, the description does state that this film is not for textured surfaces, carpets or rugs. One notable feature is that this film has the adhesive on the outside of the roll so if you are covering a large expanse, you can just put the roll on the floor and roll it across the room and the film will adhere as you go. Don’t waste your money.
Did not stick to anything. Not even itself. Definitely would not recommend. Would like a refund for this garbage.

Great Easy Way to Protect Flooring
This is such a smart product. I'm in the middle of repainting my 2nd floor which I recently replaced the flooring and really wanted to make sure that I did not splatter paint, especially since I'm painting the ceiling as well. This floor protection film was the perfect solution! It's easy to roll onto the floor, keeps the floors safe from splatter without sliding, and easily comes up when you are done. This really has made the prep and clean-up of big paint jobs so much easier and takes the stress out of accidental splattering when painting. I would highly recommend this product!

Very nice!
Likes: sticks to the floor just enough to stay in place; large roll so it covers lots of space; strong enough to not rip easily Dislikes: can be hard to put down by yourself because it does fold over and stick to itself
