GVFM Band Compatible with Garmin Forerunner 35, Soft Silicone Replacement Watch Band Strap for Garmin Forerunner 35 Smart Watch (2-Blue,Purple)

This band was sold for a nice cheap price and is a nice cheap band. We’ll see how long it lasts.Install went alright two drivers for two different screws were in the bag. The problem I have with this band is it’s all rubber. The Garmin Bands have a nice piece of strong plastic that locks the band into place. This band does not.The band came with 2 flap holders which might have been a manufacture mistake but works awesome.

Strap band lock doesn't have the tab to hold excess band in place very well.

It came with the tools needed and extra screws!

The wrist strap appeared to be the exactly the same as the one that came on the watch. The new band came with two screw drivers but neither one fit the screws that came on the watch. I found that a very small torx driver did work ok. The size of the torx driver was probably a 5 or 6 (I could not see the marking on the driver. Other than that I'm very happy with the new watch band.

Easy to install with included screw driver.Arrive quickly.

Timely deliivery-but no T0RX screw driver

Easy to fit! Others have commented on the poor tools but I didn’t have a problem with them - the key seems to be just being a bit gentle. My old strap had been on for about 5 years and it came off with these tools no problem. Spare screws too which was appreciated.I bought the lime green strap and I love the colour! The black buckle is a nice touch too. The two loops to secure the band is great, especially for me with small wrists because the strap wraps right around.Can’t comment on its longevity yet as I’ve only worn it for half a day (and one run) but it is very comfortable, I actually find it more comfortable than the original Garmin one. Something a bit less tacky about it which I like. Great product, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I bought this product to replace the strap that had come unstuck from the face on a forerunner 30. I had read some reviews that said this product doesn't fit it but it does. Removing the original strap reveals white blocks on either end of the face, if you use pliers to pull them off you expose 2 protrusions for the screws to go into from the new strap. All told it took 2 minutes to change the strap and the strap itself is great and practically identical to the original in every way plus it comes in a bunch of colours which is a nice chance to personalise the watch a bit.

Typically of all modern watches, the strap is always the weakest link. My Garmin Forerunner 35 strap is no exception and the small collar, which you tuck the loose end of the strap into, broke. This replacement strap comes with TWO collars so I slid one off to replace the broken one and I still have a spare strap for future use. The small screwdriver supplied with the strap worked perfectly to remove the relevant part of the old strap to slide the collar on and then replace it.

At first glance this looked perfect to replace my original strap that had a broken band keeper. Same price for a nice new strap as replacing the faulty bit. First side of strap fit snug and perfectly. The second side had a slight gap between the strap and the watch face. Telling myself I was being picky I continued to use it for a few days to see how I got on with it. Lasted 3 days before it was coming away even more. The screws just didn’t seem to tighten enough for a secure fit. I didn’t want to risk it snapping and losing an expensive watch so I removed the strap and am now using the original one with the band keepers from this one.

I carefully read the reviews before buying which is why I wanted to write my own. I think that there is variability amongst the straps - in particular the attachment- that means some work and some don’t. I bought as a replacement strap for a garmin forerunner 35. The original strap had split near the attachment with the watch face. I’d red the reviews and saw that I needed to remove the white part before attempting to attach the new strap. When I then looked at the attachment on the new strap it all looked good. There were two ‘clip’ bits that looked like they clipped into the top ‘grooves’ on the face, and then the screws attach the strap underneath. However when I attempted to fit it, I experienced the same issue as a previous reviewer-the ‘clip’ was not good enough to clip into the grooves. The bits were there, but not well made enough to clip into place. I was able to return easily and got a full refund.
