Nice product for the price! As others have mentioned they are short (this is to be expected when having a 5” inseam), but not overly so. They are perfect for guys with shorter legs, like myself, or if you simply prefer a shorter length.They are lightweight and seem to have a little give to them, so they could be comfortably worn all day. I will say, however, the leg openings are a little wide so if your legs are on the lean side, you may find them to be slightly baggy. I’m a larger guy (38w) and feel I have ample leg room.The color (burgundy) is as expected. Overall, a nice addition to the summer wardrobe.

Yeah, definitely shorter than most guys are "comfortable" with these days. I say "get over it" -your vitamin D deficiency will thank you. Besides, IMHO, if we can't see your knees, you're not wearing shorts -you're wearing "shants". It's summer... ACT LIKE IT, LOL!These babies are breezy, light, and heckin' comfortable with deep pockets and a double-button waistband. My ONLY gripe is that (being 98% cotton) they wrinkle like crazy in the drier, and I find myself having to iron the hems. Knocking off one star for that -they could solve this with a stretchier material.

I like these, but they're not amazing. They do seem like they will hold up great and I do like that the pockets are deeper than some of my other comparable shorts. The pockets go all the way to about an inch from the seam of the leg. They are really short, but I expected that. I ordered a 31" and I normally wear 32", but they fit great. I will probably wear these around the house and yard and maybe at the beach. The bad is that they "shrivel" at the leg seams and ironing is almost futile, so I would say you can dry these, but don't over-dry them.

These shorts are perfect. I love the length, which is slightly shorter than I anticipated. The stretchy material is a nice touch too! I bought a pair from bearbottom but they were out of this color so I tried these out. These were half the price and more flattering! Will likely buy more colors.

The 5'' short is a great length, and I am happy to see it becoming more common. At 5'10'', these are squarely in the mid-thigh territory. I like this length, but I know some guys consider these to be shorter than they are comfortable with. For reference, these are the same length as a pair of classic fit Chubbies that I own - at a much lower price point. The build quality is nice, and they have a nice trim fit. The fabric is soft and has just enough stretch that make these useful for light activity like hiking or throwing a football around. Based on other reviews, I ordered a size down. I normally wear a 34 (5'10'' ~200 lbs), and the 33 fit perfectly.

Yeah they’re half the cost but they fade fast and wrinkle like nobody’s business they are just too cheaply made to be worth the discount I cannot recall ever having to iron my freaking shorts

I was a little nervous about these shorts, since the 5” inseam is a lot shorter than I’m used to. I’m glad I took the risk because I love these shorts. They’re comfortable, they have just the right amount of flex, and they fit very well. I feel confident when wearing these shorts and you just have to rock them. I even ordered a second pair in black! I highly recommend them!

For $20 these shorts aren’t bad. They’re a bit on the shorter side but if you have nice legs, they’re great. I don’t think they show off too much leg. I’m 5’7” and they cover about 2/3 of my upper leg. Be warned, they do shrink so don’t use high heat. I’d suggest air drying these.

For years, decades even, I have resisted the trend to ever longer shorts. To me, shorts should be above the knee and since I have short legs, this means a really short inseam. I have even resorted to buying my shorts from the USA, good quality but very expensive. Now, finally I have been able to buy 5 inch inseam shorts in the UK, and at a decent price. These shorts are comfortable and come in a variety of colours. Size availability may be a problem, I noticed that many sizes were out of stock but fortunately mine was not. The fit is on the large size and you might need a size smaller.

I completely agree with those who want "proper" shorts. I'm nearly 70 too. These are fine and for what I paid what's not to like. I will be buying more for the holiday in September which won't now be happening! I don't find them baggy or liable to cause embarrasment if I wear nothing underneath, as someone suggested. I suspect he's bragging! :)

This is a fantastic pair of shorts if you don’t like them too long. The fabric is really lightweight so you don’t get too hot, and the stretch makes them really comfortable. At 5’7 I find the length just perfect, mid thigh.The fit is slightly large, I would recommend choosing one size smaller

They fit perfectly. After weeks of searching for a proper pair of shorts. At the age of nearly 80yrs. I fail to see the purpose of the supposed fashionable shorts, If I wanted to wear shorts that long I would cut the legs off of a pair ordinary of trousers, Much cheaper!!

I have been searching for shorts that don't touch the knee. Seems that all shorts these days strictly follow the long short fashion whether they are smart ware or for walking when aesthetics aren't important. As i have relatively short thighs the long short fashion looks ridiculous and i refuse to wear them. Trust Amazon to locate a supplier of reduced length shorts, when no one else bothers. These are just great, a good fit, nice cotton material plus elastane to provide a little bit of stretch when walking. A very good price too, much cheaper than Blacks/Millets.
