It will cost you MORE if you don't buy this!
I wish I would have purchased this shoe rack first. I bought another popular product because of the black sides (made of rubber) to match the bedroom. I was happy til it broke during the night. Didn't last more than 2 hours. I have 3 racks stacks on top of one another against a wall with NO straps securing it to the wall in a 2 cat household. It hasn't fell and does not appear to be unstable. It absolutely full of size 13 shoes and sneakers of different wieght placed wherever. I probably should strap it to the wall (I'll put it on the to-do list).Pros:-The widest shoe rack for the price. It is truly stackable. Istacked mine and it is holding strong. I'm a boundary pusher (with a lot of shoes) and it is triple stacked against the wallAt size 13, this rack fits 4.5 pairs of shoes per row. 5, if every other pair is heel first, toe first, etc.Definitely can handle heavy shoes.Easy to assemble; used a mallet to ensure to rods were secure.Cons:The grey/cream combo makes for a closet rack vs. a rack to display footwear.Stacking the racks is awkward due to the very top height being half of the between the racks. So after your first rack you essentially lose a useable row for regular shoes. If you where flip-flops, shower shoes or slides, that would be the place to put them on the shoe rack.If they charged $5 more for black/black combo, I'd paid it happily. All in all, great product! If you are undecided or was like me, apprehensive because of getting burned by a crappie although nice looking product this is what u need to buy.++**This is not a discount for a review**++ I do this review in thanks for all those who have saved me money steering me clear from bad products and those who have allowed me to make purchases of quality products based on their reviews.

Nice Rack!!!
I purchased this shoe rack to replace a another 4 tier shoe rack I had. My hopes with this shoe rack was that it would be able to accommodate my taller shoes and hold more pairs of shoes per rack. My previous shoe rack did not have a lot of space between each rack and could only hold 4 pairs of shoes on each rack. The VerdictThis shoe rack can most definitely hold taller shoes between each rack. All of my high top basketball sneakers and low cut Timberland boots fit between each rack with ample room to spare. There is no rubbing against the upper level and I can easily place my shoes on the rack and take them off of the rack when needed. This shoe rack can hold 4 and a half pairs of mens shoes per rack. I can see it holding 6 pairs of women's shoes but if you wear men's shoes count on being able to place 4 and a half pairs of shoes on each rack. That extra space for half a pair of shoes may not be useful in most real world situations but I was able to put my wealth of incredible ingenuity to use :-) and come up with a simple solution. I stack a pair of sandals (one sandal on top of another) and place them where the one shoe would fit. I think it was a good use of the space and it works quite well for my situation.Another great thing about the design of this shoe rack that I hadn't even considered when I purchased it is that you can place shoes of any size on the top rack. Just be aware that if you place the shoe rack under your clothes the length of those clothes will determine the height of the shoes that you can lace on the top rack.Build QualityThe shoe rack was super simple to put together. It took me about 10 minutes. The aluminum bars are sturdy and the rack feels strong and stable once it is completely assembled.RecommendationIf you want a strong stable shoe rack that holds a lot of shoes I'd say this is the shoe rack for you. If you are depending on it holding exactly 6 pairs of shoes per rack and you're a man I'd say hold off or buy additional shoe racks to accommodate all of your shoes.

AMAZING !
This is probably the biggest shoe rack I've ordered and it's amazing it made my small apartment look very spacious I absolutely love it. Looks exactly like photo and it's a lot of space for a great price. Super satisfied with this one.

Just okay
I read the reviews so I knew to expect the plastic connectors to be beige, but I still think it's misleading for all the listing photos to have grey connectors. The plastic is also brittle. I was taking the top handle off to readjust something and the plastic just snapped. Not great for heels due to the bat design.3 stars as it's easy to out together and does the job.

Good for what it is.
This is a good inexpensive shoe rack for a garage or closet. It is not made to be attractive, or a sturdy piece of furniture. All pieces and instructions were intact. It was well packaged and was easy to understand. The design of this type of unit makes it a little awkward for one person to put together, which just makes it take 20 minutes instead of 10 (with two people) to construct. When put together properly, it should not fall apart, unless you are rough on it. It actually holds 16 pairs of adult shoes comfortably. If you have tiny shoes it would hold 25. I expected that. It is worth buying, if you need a cheap shoe rack that doesn't have to look beautiful.

Good value for money
Very difficult to install as you will have to force push the bars in to the joint plastic, which also makes it difficult to take out. But once assembled, it is light sturdy shoe stand that fits perfectly in the shoe closet.

Avoid this item unless you love frustration and disappointment
This was delivered quickly and I was pleased for that. As soon as it arrived I started assembling. It says to put the rods in place and press lightly. One side is easy if you set the bracket on the floor and press the rods in. However, the other side is an exercise in frustration. As you get the first two rods in the third seems too short so you put the fourth in place and I had to use a hammer and a cloth over the plastic to be able to get it inserted. Then used a hammer to get the third one in. This was after 1/2 hour of trying to do it by the assembly instructions.OK, seemed good, put the rest together, not easily but with the hammer it helped ease my frustration of inserting a rod and having another one or two pop out of place. Finally all assembled, started to place footwear on the shelves. VERY short spacing between shelves so that was disappointing. Then the middle shelf had rods let go with just the first pair on. As I tried to fix it, other rods are popping off, footwear everywhere. GRRRR This was after making sure everything was tapped in with a hammer. That's it. There wasn't enough about this product that I liked to keep it.I immediately sent to Amazon for a return before I use the hammer on the rest of it and not in a good way!!!!

Not sturdy
Was difficult to put together as the fit for the poles into plastic corner pieces was snug. Several pieces snapped on assembly. Would not purchase again.
