The colors are bright, the markers are very age appropriate with the \"flat\" tips, ability to work at most angles (my son seemed to have found the angle it would not work in), and the washability factor is like nothing i have seen before. I have been able to wash off my sons hands using a wipe or the color just \"melts\" away into the bathwater before the soap is even applied ( I guess it could be fun if your little one likes the bathwater colorful, ;-) ) , and it has washed off all of his clothes so far! Writing on the wall-no problem!! I have been able to effectively and easily wipe a wall clean with a baby wipe or formula 409. Great buy! I bought these for my then 19 month old daughter for Xmas, she looooves to color. We made a HUGE mess just going to town on her coloring books. When we were done, I grabbed the wipes and wiped her and everything else down, and you would have never known we were coloring. They are one of the greatest inventions ever, and it literally comes off everything. Plus I love the blunt tips, she can't break them off no matter how hard she tries. The only problem we had was that she sucked the color right out of blue and orange, but thats a personal issue haha.
