Baby Bike Seat, Front Mount Kids Bike seat for Toddler with Safety Belt and Handrail, Compatilble with Adult Bike

Here is The Standard Review for the FORTOP Baby Bike Seat, Front Mount Kids Bike seat for Toddler. We have always been concerned about bike seats mounted behind us on a bicycle. The Fortop is the perfect as it secures your child in front of you. They see what you see as you cycle along. The Fortop is engineered with high quality materials and includes a safety bar and seat belt that keeps your child securely fastened in the seat. As your child grows they can hold onto your handlebars with you. We use ours on the road and on trails, it works great!

Just bought this to bike around during Covid with my son. Works great and has a seatbelt that goes over his shoulders to keep him secured in the seat. It is made of plastic that seems hollow on the inside, has a cushion in front of the child so they are comfortable in their seat during the bike ride. Haven't had any issues with the seat otherwise, child is secure and comfortable. It is harder to turn with the seat because it's between your legs, but with practice you get used to it. The set up time took around 30 minutes and didn't require any power tools as the seat came with it. Also side note, it is harder to turn left and right because the top of the seat is in your way, so no aggressively sharp turns then you would be good. Overall I'm happy to use this for a few years before he grows out of it.

Pros- easy to take on and off bike,It’s nice that the child gets to sit in front of you, easy to adjust sizing. Cons- falls apart easily( if you ever have to take it off completely and then put it on a new bike, it most likely will be the biggest pain In the @ss ever) Your knees will flare out because there won’t be any where for them to go. Especially if you have a smaller bike. In all honesty I wanted to return this item but the one month had passed and I was unable too. Clearly it’s made very cheaply.

Instructions are not clear at all . Took about 40 minutes to figure out how to set it up . It feels very secure al thought the straps are kinda flimsy. You have to pedal with your legs a little open

I would give zero stars. I purchased as a Father’s Day gift, and did not actually get to use it after the 30 day return window. After 3 uses one of the side bars welding came lose. After looking at it better it looked poorly welded and rusted This was never used in the rain and the bikes were stored in the garage. Before that it was still in the box. The bar then completely just fell off. Good thing we noticed this before setting off on a ride. If it had become detached while riding it would potentially cause serious injury or death to her, and my husband. The lap belt provided is not secure enough alone to hold her in place without the side bars. I included a photo of the intact side to compare the welding. We are disappointed because it seemed like a cute comfy seat for her. Now we are looking for a new one. We would not reorder this seat.

I was skeptical because of the reviews but it was the only one I found that would fit in the front for a Huffy Cruiser. I’m so glad I bought it. The instructions are the best but I figured it out. Good alternative instead of a bulky child trailer!

I really wanted to like this, but unfortunately I will be returning. The bar or so called bar that goes in front pops out without much force. Also the straps are not padded which my little one found uncomfortable. The instructions to put together were challenging. They give you 3 different sets of screws; all different sizes. They tell you to put screws in but don't reference which ones. I figured it out but hey, it would be nice to be clear. I did ride with the seat in front and it wasn't uncomfortable. I am just not sold that this seat will keep my kid safe. The straps needs work and the part that goes across the middle needs more of a secure fit. It shouldn't pop out with the littlest of force.

De entrada no me gusto que pedí el rojo y me enviaron uno negro! Muy diferente el modelo. Las instrucciones no son nada buenas, tuvimos que andar adivinando cómo armarlo. El modelo negro ( que No pedí) no tiene acolchonado el asiento. No pudiendo apretar al 💯 la base. Vamos a tener que comprar unos tornillos 🔩 que hagan ese ajuste al frente.

Sus instrucciones son una basura. Pésimo como hacen las cosas los chinos. Mal hecho. Entiendo que compré algo chino. Pero es increíble lo mal que hacen las cosas. Como es posible que manden unas instrucciones tan mal hechas?
