Updated review: after using the straighteners a couple of times, I do still think they are very good for the money however I find that whilst my hair is smooth right after straightening it, that doesn’t seem to last probably as my hair is very thick and curly. I’m keeping them though as I do like using them!I’ve been looking for new straighteners for a while as my GHD wide plates decided to die a death on me last week after 5 years together. I saw that this brand had lots of good reviews so whilst I was a little skeptical given the price, I decided to buy these instead of splashing out and I’m glad I did.I have a LOT of extremely thick, red curly hair and was convinced that only GHDs could get it straight but I’ve been proven wrong. Clearly other brands of straighteners have drastically improved over the years and it just goes to show you really don’t have to splash out to find a decent pair. Please give these a try before wasting your money on the big brands!

I 1000% recommend these. A million times better than my 2 pairs of GHD for my super curly, frizzy and thick hair. Did my whole head in less than 20 minutes and not a curl in sight! My hair is super soft and shiny I am absolutely delighted!!

Bought these after reading reviews saying they are really good as i use Remington hair straighteners i found them that they pull on your hair snagging it also took more than one use to straighten my hair always left with kinks but since the reviews on kipozi hair straightener as great must admit was skeptic about them never heard of them but now they are brilliant used last night to straighten my hair and what a difference no snagging my hair no more kinks only used them once and my hair was amazing looks like i will be purchasing another pair for a spare because these are fantastic usually when i straighten my hair at night before bed then straighten again in the morning as my hair is all wavy again but not this time my husband said my hair looked light and feather did not look dull even though my did not needed straightened this morning i just did it and it took less than 5 mins where is would normally take me 20 to 30 mins in the morning to redo my hair with my Remington hair straighteners these ones i would recommend and the price is brilliant also when you purchase them you get a year guarantee with them but when you register them you get a further 6 months on top of that which is good and they definitely do not take long to heat up either these are the best hair straighteners i have bought much better than Remington ones will not go back to using my Remington ones again i will stick to these one

From using GHDS ever since I started straightening my hair, I am very happy with these. My beloved GHDS lasted me 5 happy years. I couldn’t bring my self round to spending £150+ on some new ones. So I searched what’s best for curly/frizzy hair and as you can see when my curly hair is brushed it goes manic, in the past only GHDs could do the trick, and last throughout the day.These are quick to heat up, I love that you can change the settings on the heat. I only used them at 150 since I’m trying to use less heat, and they STILL did the trick flawlessly. My hair feels soft, not like straw and the plates glide so nicely.The only fault I could say is that they hurt my hand a little after holding them for a while, but for £30 I really couldn’t have picked a better pair of straighteners!

Saw these come up lots of time in "best straighteners to buy" reviews, at around £25 I decided it was worth a try as I was worried my GHDs might be on their way out.I have shoulder length, fine, fluffy, crazy wavy hair & lots of it, I've used GHDs since I was a teenager and never thought twice about any of brand when it came to needing a new pair, however this time I wondered if they were still worth the high price tag, hence the gamble on these!They are a great straightener, I love how they have a light on them for when they are plugged in (no more panics about are they still turned on as youd notice the light!) They then light up on the front panel where the temp gauge is when they are properly on. The lock mechanism is great as well.They heat up quickly, slower than GHDs but still quick! Love the wider plates. It probably takes the same amount of time to straighten as GHDs and give a great finish (considering the price tag, its amazing!)Where they fall down for me is the finish doesn't last... usually I use my GHD glide brush for a quick once over on day 2 and my hair is good to go. With these I needed to start from scratch pretty much, which means more heat on my hair more often. Not great. Tried a few different heat settings to see if it was that but always had the same issues.Looks wise, they arent the most sophisticated, the logo is pretty gaudy but I can look past that given the price tag.For me they are a bargain for under £30, especially if you were someone who didn't straighten their hair everyday but still wanted a really crisp finish every now and again. However for me, when my GHDs do finally give in, I will still be buying another pair, these arent a replacement but a pretty decent back up! Do I regret this purchase? Not at all!
